Madi just shyly pulled her hand away and stood there trembling. He was going to send her back, after she'd gotten so close...

"Ma-Madi..." The little Twili replied, taking Alwin's hand hesitantly. She was still shaking like a leaf.

Seeing as how Madi had no choice now, she reluctantly and in conplete terror emerged from Aspira's shadow. She had her hood up again, and was visibly shaking. She'd never broken a law before, and she did not believe this guard wasn't going to hurt her for it!

Madi was... Slightly less confused, but only because she knew how Twili magic worked. She was too terrified and in despair to even move, though, so she was currently no help. I mean come on, the guard was looking for the Hero too?! How could her luck get any worse...?

The shadow started trembling when Alwin refocused on her, and the Twili inside started panicking.

Madi was frankly just panicking, especially after Midna got hurt. To save her the trouble of running even more, the Twili moved to Aspira's shadow the first chance she got.

Madi just trembled in Midna's shadow, freaking out on the inside. She could hear the voices, they knew she was here. Oh gosh, they knew... She couldn't be caught yet, she had to meet the Hero!

Madi thanked her repeatedly in Twili, then made a shadow for Midna with the moonlight from the window and jumped in.

Madi was truly in a panic, and actually started speaking in Twili before she forced herself to use Hylian again. "N-need hi-hide, in t-tro-trouble! Sh-shadow, p-please? You sha-shadow, I hi-hide, p-please!"

Madi felt the other Twili's magic stir, and she quickly scrambled up to wake up Midna.

Madi had woken up when Midna did, and immediately a feeling of dread washed over her. She could feel Twili magic nearby... Without even meaning to, she cursed in her native language. The Queen's guard was here! If he found out a civilian had gone through the portal, she could be arrested for...

Madi just stayed by the window for a little while, looking at the strange moon and stars of this world. Her world didn't have anything like this... It was a few hours later when she closed the window tight, and found a dark corner of the room to curl up and fall asleep in.

Madi smiled a bit when the girls proved themselves to be nice people, and although she thought it was a bit odd that the one human- Aspira?- had decided to sleep at this time of the day, she let the girl be and moved to the window. She wanted to see the moon...

Madi seemed to blush blue when they said that nice thing, and hung her head as she muttered "Tha-thank..."

((Yeah what, though? Zelda gave you two options, which one are you saying yeah to?)) Madi hesitated to approach the beds, and merely hovered by the door and looked at everyone. She'd brought her hood down when the sunlight disappeared, her young, diminutive face finally able to be seen properly.

Madi just followed the huamsn into the inn, relaxing quite a bit when not only she was inside, but the sun started going down. It was a lot easier to see and move around when there wasn't sunlight to worry about.

((That's what I thought! But apparently DL was thinking of the Light Spring the whole time!))

"Tha-thank..." Madi murmured, the promise seeming to console her a bit.

All Madi could do was nod, not having enough confidence in her already-basic Hylian to fully explain herself. She didn't know how the portal had appeared any more than they did, and she was scared out of her mind that she wouldn't be able to go home again...

Madi looked up at Rengo hesitantly, then seemed to be searching for the right words to say. Eventually, she said "I c-come n-near here, n-no p-portal sh-show..." She attempted to point to the sky above the Light Spring. "No g-guards t-too. Th-they not he-here, sh-should b-be... O-other...

Madi winced when the war was mentioned, and pulled her cloak tightly around herself. There were people who were still angry about that...

"No-not know." Madi replied, looking worried herself. "No s-see Mi-Mirror, o-only l-light. Qu-Queen send g-guards t-to look, I s-sneak aft-ter..."

"No-not s-sure..." Madi admitted. "N-new w-way, new... M-Mirror? I g-go th-through, co-come here. Not s-sure..."

"The-then I st-tay." Madi declared firmly, before getting shy and adding "I-if you le-let..."

Madi's expression grew troubled when she heard that, then she asked "Y-you g-go to He-Hero a-aft-ter?"

Madi initially flinched at Midna's touch, not used to the feeling of such close contact with a light dweller, but she didn't pull away. She didn't exactly relax either, but the acceptance had been given. It was the least she could do, these light dwellers were being so kind and helping her in...

Madi had just stayed in the shadows and wondered what her new... Friends? Acquaintances? Allies? ...were talking about. Hopefully they weren't planning to hurt her, or abandon her before they told her where the Hero was. She'd be completely lost in this world without them. When they came back...

"I n-need ta-talk to He-Hero..." Madi replied to Aspira, her only motion being her eyes flickering up at the girl.

((She would like that, but isn't about to push these guys. She feels lucky they're taking her to him at all.)) "S-soon." The little Twili replied, too scared to look up as she spoke. "S-soon as c-can. I-if can..."

((I thought they were gonna go to Lanayru then back to Ordon, but that was just me.))

Madi just stayed as much in these peoples' shadows as she could, though she seemed to know where they were going.

((I'm waiting for DarkLink, because now Madi's just following this group.))

((Like, maybe three feet tall? and like super stick thin.)) And with that extra reassurance, the little Twili emerged from the shadows, hiding every part of herself with her cloak.

Madi just nodded again, before carefully stepping closer to her new 'friends', and the sunlight...

"Ha-had." Madi confirmed with a nod, that seemingly all she was willing to say about the subject.

"Y-you have bro-brother?" Madi asked Midna, her eyes locked on Robin. "I-I had br-brother..."

Madi just nodded back, though she still looked fearful to go out in the sun. Shadows were safe, shadows couldn't hurt her...

"Ca-can." Madi replied, her tone implying that was her point. "N-no c-come out ma-magic in s-sun. Da-danger, m-maybe su-sun hit... Ca-can hi-hide now."
