I'd go with the Blue Bots. They're so unpredictable. I've died a lot of times from them, getting pushed off down a pit, mainly in Palace 3 and in the Great Palace. I like all the other monsters. My favorite are the Ironknuckles and the bird knights.

Shield bash is totally kool but you can use the sword to deflect the projectiles, both missiles & rocks. The shield was 100% optional in this game when it came to killing monsters. There was that one practice Log though, in the Training Hall, where you had to have it.

I've done a normal & hero mode minimalist run under 15 hours each (in-game clock). So it's definitely possible to finish the game in just one sitting within a 24-hour period.

I didn't like any of the sidequests in this game but I voted for Beedle's Lost Beetle because it forced me to find Strich's Bug Hunt minigame <--- my 2nd fav minigame after Fledge's Pumpkin Pull.

I really liked the Silent Realms from the first time. I liked the obstacle-course type of minigame that they were. Lanayru was the only one I messed up on. The rest I took really slow and used up the 90 second per tear just to plan the route to the next one and the next one after that.

I start with Tentalus. He's the most tedious out of all the boss fights and the second slowest that I can beat, around 2.5 minutes (in-game clock, not real-time). The rest can be done under 2 minutes. Koloktos is tedious too but I have fun fighting him because of his sword.
