Skyward Sword Can't Open Goddess Chest

So I activated the Goddess Cube corresponding to the chest on Beedle's Island, however, when I go there at night to acquire it, it's not illuminating for me to open it. It shows it on the map, but I can't open it. *scratches head* Thoughts?

Did you check if there is another chest nearby? Sometimes the map shows there is a treasure chest but then it turns out there is another one nearby. Keep this in mind

Like he said, there can sometimes be multiple chests on an island. Look around for it, all over the island.

Try zooming in and placing a beacon on the glowing chest. That should help

True, you need to be on Beedle's ship to get access to it

If you're good at skydiving, you can get the Goddess Chest on Beedle's Island during the day by sky diving off of the Loftwing.
It saves you a trip to Skyloft and going to the airshop to sleep on the bed.
