Pumpkins!

Why the heck are there so many pumpkins in Skyward Sword?! Not that I have anything against them but why pumpkins and why are they the only visible source of food? Was this stated in the game? And if so, I must have missed it.

Also, I don't think there would be enough room for livestock on Skyloft and the other floating islands lol

Haha! You're right! Well, there were a lot of pumpkins in Twilight Princess, too, weren't there? Especially in Ordon.

Because you can throw all of them into the water and then corkscrew through them! Why else?!

All joking aside, I really don't think there is much room for discussion here... so I'm going to go ahead and close this thread. If you really wanted to, you could probably have a similar thread about silly things in Zelda games in the forum games, or something...
