Twilight Princess Is There a Heart Piece Bug?

Ok, I am not new to the LoZ series or TP at all. I have recently borrowed TP from a friend since my friend had the Wii version and I thought it would be a bit of a challenge to play the game flipped.

I have been following the Heart Piece Walkthrough here on ZD. I have picked up every piece of heart listed (up to and including piece of heart 12) but the game has registered only 11 pieces of heart?

Now, there is a very slim possibililty I have not picked one up but I am 99.98% sure I collected them all in the order listed so, is there a known bug where the game fails to register a piece of heart?

Not that I know of. I never had any problem collecting heart pieces. It would really help to pinpoint the heart piece that's gone amiss.

That is the problem. I have collected them in order up to and including piece 12 as stated above but I realised as I received Heart Piece 11 that I was down one. I know this because when I got Heart Piece 11, that is when I formed a new Heart Container and I knew something was wrong.

I'd try just revisiting the first 12 heart piece locations to make sure you have them all. Refer to the website's list. Twilight Princess: Pieces of Heart

So next time you reloaded the game, you thought you already picked it up.

I too have not heard of any heart piece bug for this game. I really hope this is not a bug! :O

@Kupsacker: OK, revisiting all twelve locations as we speak...

EDIT: I won't be able to do that for at least 20mins. The game has blocked me in and I have to follow the story and escort Prince Ralis to Kakariko Village so I can get to the other side of Hyrule Field without Eldin Bridge.

Me too...but if there was one, it surely would have been discovered by now

D:...:embarrassed:...That is almost exactly what happened. I feel rather stupid now. When picking up one of the pieces in Goron Mines, the path naturally takes you in the direction of the piece of heart for the GC and since that is what I am used to playing, my brain automatically thought that I had already gone in the right direction for this one.
