I chose to live in Hyrule anyway and then reading this totally sold me on the idea haha, that is a great way of seeing it all from another perspective and now I'm finding myself drawn to Ganondorf's cause a lot more.
I chose to die by Ganondorf's hand because as evil as he is, I think it would be a much easier death than by the cuccos, that would not only be a painful death but an embarrassing one as well.
Thanks for the comments everyone, I will most probably grab them next time I'm up there as they did look appealing, and they read from right to left which is a novelty in itself haha.
I was in my local music store the other day and they had some Legend of Zelda graphic novels including Ocarina of Time and Majora's mask. I haven't bought them yet but just wondered if any of you guys have and if they're any good.
Luckily enough the first one went wrong pretty early into the process and wasn't too hard to scrap, the second one was a bit further in but I didn't want to scrap the idea entirely; once I was committed I had to complete it one way or another and the ones that went wrong taught me what not to do...
It was definitely a learning curve and had its moments, this piece was my third attempt as the first two ended up too saturated and the colours muddied up so in that sense it was pretty difficult in parts; I got the knack of it in the end and learned a lot in the process though.
I think a movie would be a good way to go and definitely something original, following or rewriting an existing game script could prove too problematic and something original would most probably be better received, especially not having an existing storyline to be compared with.
I really enjoyed Inside the Great Deku tree, it was the first real dungeon experience of the game and an incredible introduction to what was coming throughout the rest.
Ocarina of Time 3D, I'm actually playing that at the moment immersing myself into the nostalgia and enjoying every moment, it actually feels like a new game entirely since it's been so long since I played it on the N64.
I loved both of these games, Oracle of Ages was my favourite of the two though. I got stuck on one of the dungeon puzzles and dreamed how to complete it, played it once I'd woken up and cracked the puzzle; that makes it a very memorable game for me.
I think you hit the nail on the head with that comment, and in order for a new Legend of Zelda game to be better than Ocarina of Time, they have to innovate again.
Way back when I had a gameboy, somewhere along the line someone bought me a Zelda game and I was hooked immediately, the puzzles and quests quenched a thirst for gaming that not many other games have done since.
I think the Sheikah play an important role, and like most people I would love to know more about them, a strong, consistent and abundant storyline of the Sheikah would be great.
Presently I only own Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker on 3DS, I used to have OOT, MM on the N64, and most of the Gameboy games back when that was my number one platform for gaming.
Are there any mages of the cards you can share with us? It's hard to sell a product based on just the packaging, even cereal boxes show pictures of the contents...
In my opinion, King Zora has got to rank as the smelliest character I can think of, after all he is a colossal overweight fish that just sits in one place festering. If you've ever been to a fish market on a hot day you'll probably have some idea of what it would be like.
I've always thought of them as a means of communication rather than safe havens, although admittedly in game all they have ever done for me is tell me the time.
Hi all, just wondered if anyone can recommend a decent youtube channel for Legend of Zelda play throughs as I've only played up to Majora's Mask and that was a good while ago; I would like to catch up with the story before Breath of the Wild and the NX are released.
I think I'll have to go totally cliche on this one and say Sheik, that character always sparked my curiosity and left me wanting to learn more, other than that it would be Link; and how could it not be, Link is awesome!
It's an interesting concept I've never questioned it before now, but it has engaged my curiosity. Magic absorption seems like the easiest explanation but that also seems like a bit of a cop out.
The flow of time is always cruel... It's speed different for each person, but no one can change it - Sheik (Ocarina of Time)
This is a favourite quote of mine in general not just from the Legend of Zelda, and a very true one.
