Spoiler Forest Temple Vs. Sky Temple

For the longest time, the demos we have seen call the first dungeon of the game the Sky Temple, but the information recently released by Game Informer call it the Forest Temple. Was this just a generalization because the dungeon is forest-themed or did they really change the name?

Ideas for a Skyward Sword Water Temple?

I like the idea on the last page of an animal guide in the water temple. It could sort of be like the Earth and Wind temples in Wind Waker where you have to work together with the sage to get through the temple. I've always liked dungeons that require teamwork. Maybe even with the boss as well?

3DS: Not That Big of a Deal, but Kind of an Annoying Issue...

My dad actually helped me fix it. I took off the back panel and removed the battery because it was squeaking directly to the right of the battery indent. I cut out a piece of an old gift card and wedged it under the side of the battery indent and the squeaking stopped! The battery fit right over...

3DS: Not That Big of a Deal, but Kind of an Annoying Issue...

To anybody else who owns a 3DS, Whenever I press down on the back of the 3DS in the very center, it makes a very loud squeaking noise. I tried tightening the screws and seeing if anything underneath was loose, but I couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. Is this a normal occurrence? I'd...

    3DS Software Update?!

Nintendo Support said that the software update for the 3DS enabling the internet browser and the 3DS eShop was to be released in late May. Anybody have any news on this? I looked around and couldn't find information on Nintendo pushing a release date yet again.

Ocarina of Time Did You Really Find the Water Temple As Hard As People Say?

One thing I realized a little ways into the dungeon was that every chest shown using the compass is actually a key since the Water Temple has so many. All I had to do was make my way to one of those chests that I knew was accessible and fetched the key to keep going. Still a bit annoying but...

Ocarina of Time Ocarina of Time Master Quest 3D is Mirrored?!

I hadn't heard this before, maybe I'm just slow on picking up information. Excited? Disappointed? Personally, I'm interested in seeing OoT Hyrule backwards and it will add a great deal of challenge to replaying it! Source: http://www.cubed3.com/news/15549

Ocarina of Time Did You Really Find the Water Temple As Hard As People Say?

Did you miss the small key where you had to bomb the wall? That's the one I missed. Another rule I followed is, with the compass, all of the treasures that show up on the map are keys in the Water Temple.

Ocarina of Time Did You Really Find the Water Temple As Hard As People Say?

I was really intimidated when I entered the Water Temple on my first playthrough of OoT just because of all of the hype it created online, but it ended up actually being OK. I got through it with only one hang-up with a small key. Really the rule I followed the entire time through the temple...

Ocarina of Time Whats Your Favorite Mini Dungeon from Ocarina of Time?

I'd have to go with The Well. I love the creepiness, illusions, darkness, and everything about it. Don't get me wrong, the Ice Cavern was alright, but the only mini-dungeon that actually got some emotion out of me was The Well, mainly fear. :P

Ideas for a Skyward Sword Water Temple?

I like the idea of a massive flood too, that could make for a very interesting story line. There's been games where Hyrule is flooded and there's been games where Hyrule is dry, but never has there been a game with both!

Majora's Mask Favorite Music in MM.

My top 5 would have to be... 5. Final Hours - Most moving song in the whole game, especially with the bells... 4. Deku Palace - Just so catchy, it gets stuck in my head really easy. 3. Oceanside Spider House - Not much of a song, but it brings back so many good memories of playing Majora's Mask...

Ideas for a Skyward Sword Water Temple?

Seen a lot of cool ideas from this thread, but a couple that stuck out to me were the underwater city and the properties of water. I really think the underwater city would be a great way to remodel the dwellings of the Zoras. Zora's Domain, Zora's Hall, etc. have all been sort of beaten to...

Ideas for a Skyward Sword Water Temple?

Since this is a full-scale Wii Zelda, it's almost inevitable that this game will feature a torturous water-themed temple. What ideas do you think would make a good new addition to the water temples of the series? --- I personally would like to see another temple that focuses around currents like...

Twilight Princess Does Twilight Princess Deserve to Be Called a Disappointment?

Twilight Princess was the game that got me into the Zelda series, and I have to say that if I wasn't completely pleased with the game, I wouldn't have tried the others. I really felt that it was an excellent addition to the series and wasn't really lacking in any area, some could have just been...

Ocarina of Time Replaying Ocarina of Time and Just Reached the Water Temple. What Should I Do?!

Well you guys have almost convinced me... I'm really thinking about playing it all the way through without one. I'm just imagining what the feeling would be like after beating the boss without any sort of help... Sorry for the double post, but I'd just like to update that I decided to go for it...

Ocarina of Time Replaying Ocarina of Time and Just Reached the Water Temple. What Should I Do?!

Well like the title says, I'm replaying Ocarina of Time and just reached the Water Temple. In my first playthrough, I relied heavily on a text walkthrough to guide me through the temple, but I did so for other portions of the game as well. However, this playthrough I haven't used a walkthrough...

Anybody else Brave Enough to Get the 3DS the First Day It Came Out?

I decided to get it just because of all of the built-in stuff. The main thing I'm waiting for is OoT: 3D. :P

Anybody else Brave Enough to Get the 3DS the First Day It Came Out?

Today is the first day for 3DS in North America and I decided I'd head down to Best Buy and get one. I'm actually very impressed and glad I got it. Anybody else?

Most Relaxing Place to Be in Wind Waker?

^^ It's not active at night. I really don't have any interest in Windfall during the day, but if you go there at night and ride the windmill up to the top of the tower with the lighthouse running, it's a great place to sit and relax for awhile.

Zelda Art Feedback on My Signature Banner?

I wasn't looking to make it fancy or anything, I just wanted to take some of my favorite elements from each of the games and enhance the animation. Once I begin making a better avatar, I'll definitely use more of Photoshop's capabilities.

Zelda Art Feedback on My Signature Banner?

I created an animated signature banner showcasing the Zelda games I've beaten. It's the first one I've created and I'd like some feedback. Thanks! :)

Ocarina of Time What's Your Fav Music of LoZ OoT?

Minuet of Forest and the Forest Temple theme. Those two come to mind whenever I think of Ocarina of Time.

Ocarina of Time What's Your Reaction when You First Entered the Forest Temple?

The OoT Forest Temple is one of my most favorite Zelda dungeons. When I first entered I already sort of new what to expect because I had checked it out online beforehand. But the first time I checked it out, it got me really pumped because it features a lot of things that I love in a dungeon.

Ocarina of Time 3D: Amazing Addition, or Waste of Money?

I'm actually really excited for this game, I've heard that access to changing items is much easier, of course the graphics are better, and apparently the motions are much more fluid. I don't see why anyone would think of this newer version of this amazing games as bad if it's just improving on...

Looking for a Consensus: Favorite Dungeon?

Alright, so here are my opinions on each of the dungeons: Forsaken Fortress (initial): I thought this was a great temple to start the game on, it allowed the player to learn and get used to all of Link's functions such as pushing blocks, swinging on ropes, etc. while also fighting some fun...

Looking for a Consensus: Favorite Dungeon?

@NosirrahK: I just did the Forbidden Woods not too long ago and it was more or less linear. You returned to the same rooms multiple times, but the only problem was you were on a different level, so if you had to quit and return later, it was still difficult to get back to the place you were...

    What is Your Fav Island??

Windfall, Link's Oasis, and Gale Isle. - Windfall is my favorite just because of all you can do there and how fun and relaxed it is, especially at night with the lighthouse running. - Link's Oasis because it's just a laidback island and it's a place I can call home in the game. I also love the...

    Ocarina of Time Hardest Temple

Water Temple hands down, never has a Zelda temple ever caused me so much grief. @princess_zelda: How do you "mess up" a temple? Besides annoyance and anger, screwing up in a temple won't do anything. :P

    Twilight Princess Mirrored Maps

I've played through the Wii version of Twilight Princess four times now and I've always been interested in playing the GameCube version just to see what the game's like flipped. I just might have to hop on Craigslist sometime and see if I can find a copy for cheap.
  41. zachev2kool

Looking for a Consensus: Favorite Dungeon?

Yeah, the Forsaken Fortress. I was surprised to see a heart container at the end of the bird battle, it didn't seem like an official enough dungeon for one, but hey why am I complaining? More life!

Looking for a Consensus: Favorite Dungeon?

I forgot about the giant staircase! I loved that! Plus Puppet Ganon was one of the best bosses in Zelda history IMO.
  43. zachev2kool

Looking for a Consensus: Favorite Dungeon?

Woo another Wind Temple fan! From what I've seen most people either love it or hate it, usually over Makar. I know he isn't the greatest partner ever for a dungeon but he's not as bad as people seem to make him out to be.

Twilight Princess Is This the Longest Zelda Game?

Yes, Twilight Princess is definitely the longest game, but it's also my favorite followed closely by Wind Waker. I've beat Twilight Princess 4 times now, the last time taking me 19 hours, which is still very long.
  45. zachev2kool

Looking for a Consensus: Favorite Dungeon?

@Epona: I agree with you about the inside/outside combo on Dragon Roost, it was a nice break to hear the waves every now and then and not have to be stuck inside the temple the entire time. @SwiftestPhantom: I actually just finished the Earth Temple this morning on my second playthrough. I...

Looking for a Consensus: Favorite Dungeon?

So I've searched the internet trying to find a general consensus of what the best dungeon is in Wind Waker, and so far I haven't come across many good examples, so I decided to make my own! What did you like about the wind waker?

I'm replaying this game too! Same as you, I don't know what it is about this game that makes me love it so much, but I do. Currently, I'm in the Forbidden Woods.

Majora's Mask Hardest Part of Majora's Mask?

Sucks that you lost all your Stone Tower data! I always get nervous after I gain a lot of progress and can't save until I finish. Majora's Mask made me really anxious! :P
