It's not to do with how many Lynels you kill- I only killed the Ploymus Mountain one before taking down Ganon and then looking around again found they were all silver. Only silver ones give star fragments, though.

Can confirm all but *three* become silver. There will always be a Red one on Ploymus mountain, and always a Blue and White one in the Castle. Every other over world Lynel becomes Silver in the end game, however.

So what does everyone appreciate most about Lynels?

I appreciate Lynels.

Some silver blade Lynels just do the jump attack on repeat, and it's got less of a cooldown and a more accurate splash than the Spear equivalent. Spears are just so weak physically and you can literally duck most of the attacks.

Yeah, the Ploymus mountain one is the one with Shock arrows (though they all have elemental arrows of some kind). Silver Lynels with clubs are the worst. Though blades come a close second as their attacks are much faster.

He is the only Lynel in the entire game that doesn't 'upgrade' as you progress. He stays the lowest level Lynel with the lowest level club - go to the labyrinth in Hebra and wander westwards and try battling the Lynels around there ;)

Hah! That's the weakest Lynel in the whole game :P Have fun with the others ;)

A bit of both. You get a star next to your save file to show you've defeated Ganon, and anything you've done since the last save such as photos for the compendium or Koroks found are saved into the 'starred' file. You can then carry on and do whatever you want - but it will still be 'before'...

Collecting Koroks. Just over a third of the way there.

I tried so many times to stealth it and always failed. Ended up just taking them out one by one with ice arrows.

Urbosa. The other three are much of a muchness, but Revali gets a little bonus point for his 'I'll be plucked' line.

Just a normal set of armour. Probably the Hylian set or Sheikah set at that point. Doesn't matter what you're wearing if you don't get hit ;)

^We know, however, from TP that Gorons are fine underwater, and can even breathe underwater, as there is one that lives at the bottom of Zora's domain when it unfreezes. I think ST shows they just relocated and are absolutely fine.

I did them Zora>Rito>Gerudo>Goron, but similar to others - definitely not the recommended order. The only ones I'd say for sure is Rito first - as Revali's Gale makes the other dungeons and exploring in general much less trouble - and Goron as one of the middle ones - as it's by far the weakest...

At the point now where I can kill the bastards without taking any damage. Still fail to high heaven at perfect guarding/dodging, but my aim with arrows is on point, so can almost always make them kneel during one of their attacks. Only the occasional blade-wielding one is a struggle, as some of...

Actually, it's the desert one that's probably the Wind Fish after looking closer, as that one has the little wings on the top.

Some people would have shield surfed way before meeting the tutorial guys too. Your point? That's like complaining you can still do Minor Test shrines when you've already done a Major Test one.

Aye, I meant Encyclopaedia. Well the 'Avian Rito' as you call them share Medli in their history and also have the same theme tune as the 'Zoran Rito' (Dragon Roost Island theme) so I'd say intention as it stands is that they are one and the same.

According to Hyrule Historia, released this year, the Sea Zora and River Zora are directly related to each other, the latter evolving from the former. It also reiterated that Rito evolved from Zora. So, yeah.

Definitely Medli. It's clearer in the Japanese where Medli's name is "Meh-Doh-Ri" and Medoh is literally the first two syllables. All named after Sages of their race. Only known Rito sage is Medli. Pretty safe bet there.

The Wind Fish wasn't part of the dream- the Wind Fish was the dreamer itself. And he was seen after waking flying over the sea, so definitely exists in the real world. And there's precedence for Oceans becoming Deserts in SS's Sand Sea.

As soon as you have full hearts, a simple hearty elixir is enough. Any full heal is plenty, meaning food becomes super easy to cook. Hearty ingredient + Anything, or hearty critter+monster part.

There is no problem at all. Almost every religion prays to some degree to some god or other. It only makes sense that this fictional religion in this fictional world also would pray. It's ridiculous to suggest otherwise.
