What Game(s) Are You Playing at the Moment?

I just beat Super Metroid (VC) yesterday, and I must say, I loved it. It actually became one of my favorite games of all time, ranking roughly ninth on my "list." It was fantastic (and certainly posed a good challenge). I highly reccomend it to anyone who has yet to play it, although surely many of you have... I'm a bit late in playing it, I know, but better late than never!

Now I will be picking up Paper Mario (N64) and Super Mario Galaxy, both of which I stopped about half-way through for various reasons and now I want to (finally go back and complete them (as well as their sequals, eventually).

I downloaded two ISOs:

Sonic & the Black Knight, just to check it out, a bit ehh

and

Mario Kart Wii, same reason it's enough fun to keep me satisfied for a bit.
Oh you pirate, you.

Got Flingsmash in from Nintendo today so I'm playing that. Also some Dues Ex on the side.

Let me see. I recently finished Kirby's Epic Yarn, Red Steel 2, and Assassin's Creed II. They were all really good games, and I would highly recommend all of them. I got Goldeneye Wii a few days ago, and have played through a good amount of it. It's really good, and the split-screen is almost just as fun as back on the N64. One of the best parts is that you can use a Classic or GameCube controller instead of the Wii remote.

I also got Fallout New Vegas yesterday, and so far it's pretty good. The beginning is much better then Fallout 3.

I finished my Jak and Daxter marathon last week (jak 1, jak 2, jak 3 and jak the lost frontier). It was fun to replay the old games again and I finally finished the last game. Sadly the last game isn't as good as the first three (the last game is not made by naughty dog) so as a jak and daxter fan it was very disappointing. It felt rushed and almost all characters and locations from the older games are not present in the game (and even though they claim the main plane in the game is a hellcat in orange text no less, it really wasn't). End conclusion: Jak and Daxter the lost frontier is a mediocre game which annoys a fan of the series like me. And whoever decided to make a Dutch language option with the most uninspiring/not in character voices I've ever heard should be fired.

Anyways, back to the topic. After my marathon I started with Metroid Prime 3 on the wii and Metroid Prime on the GC. I still have to finish both games and so far it is a lot more fun than I remembered. I don't like that MP doesn't give you hints unless you are stuck for hours, but there are walkthroughs for that :P. I'm also playing Professor Layton and the Unwound Future and I'm now at chapter 10. So far the game is fun, the Dutch voices are good (although they recycled a lot of the voices from characters in Pandora's Box. For example, the voice of old Luke is almost identical to the voice of Anton from the previous game...which can be a bit confusing) and the puzzles are great. I can't wait to see how the story ends.

I finally started SUPER MARIO!!!... GALAXY!!!... 2. I guess you can say it's better then the first one. They brought back some elements from older titles such as the World system and some side scrolling action. I also like the inclusion of Yoshi, he's a very fun character and is also good for gameplay purposes. So far I finished what I can of world 1. I just need the last Comet Medal.

As for GTA IV, it's a side game since all I'm doing is racing and taking friends out and some other things for achievements before I do a speed run of the game.

Well I have been playing Army of Two the 40th Day with my brother. I really like this game, it has a lot to offer and has some very cool features. I love the new mock surrender feature the most. As a shooter it's great and full of epicness just like the second chapter. What's more epic then kicking *** in two falling buildings. I feel this game is under rated and hope EA makes a third one, if anyone is a fan of shooting games, I say give this one a shot.

Super Mario World (SNES) I'm at the final world,
Aventure of Link (NES) I'm only at the second dungeon, a hard game, but VERY underated,
Goldeneye (N64) One of the greatest games of all time,
Goldeneye (Wii) Great game, though not as good as the original.

I'm playing Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past. SNES version, on my original SNES, which still works like a charm, but has yellow residue on it.
Well, this is my 3rd file. I'm doing everything weird. In the Dark World, I started with Palace of Darkness, then Thieve's Town, Swamp Palace, and I'm on my way to Skull Woods. I've gotten the items very oddly. I have the Tempered Sword pretty early, as well as the Titan's Mitts. I didn't get my Icerod, Magic Powder, or Magic Cape until after the Swamp Palace. Very odd order.

OH I like this thread! I am always playing something. I even bring my DSIXL to work with me so I can play games. I just finished Phantom Hourglass, and I'm saved right before the final boss stage, so now I'm running around like a crazy person trying to collect all the different ship parts and items, etc etc etc. I'm also currently working on my first time through Master Quest OOT on my Gamecube, which is interesting. [ Let's just say I raged for two hours in one room of the fire temple because I couldn't figure out one stupid little thing. We all have our moments right? ] I just finished the water temple, and am on my way to the shadow temple. Am I the only person who hates using Ice Arrows on Bongo Bongo? I always do better without them when I fight him.

I also just moved my PS2 out to my living room and so I'm going to start Okami again soon to make a full run before OkamiDen comes out, and also Haunting Ground, which is what my avatar is based off of if you haven't heard of it or played it. I've also been neck deep in zombies since I just bought Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 on Steam about a month ago, if you play either of them on Steam I'll totally add you and we can go a few rounds! I'll warn you though, I tend to get the highest percentage of friendly fire shots out of my entire team ._.;

I'm currently playing Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood quite a bit. I also picked up Other M recently and I plan to start that soon. ^^

Right now I've really been into Call of Duty games. I started playing Modern Warfare's multiplayer on my Wii and I decided to go back to the first [console] Call of Duty game, which is CoD: Finest Hour. Played it practically all day.

I also decided to get back into Sonic the Hedgehog, so I'm going to try to beat Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3, and Sonic & Knuckles. Maybe even get Sonic the Hedgehog 4 if I get really bored and want to play another Sonic game.

Eh, mostly the same stuff from before.

Star Ocean:Till the End of Time, while a "vital" part of my life, doesn't use my everyday life. I still dedicate the most time to it, though.

I've played Final Fantasy XII and XIII. In 12, I was screwing around with quickenings, in 13 I'm trying to find a way to beat Barthandelus I (Chapter 9 or something like that). Destrudo is...horrible.

I've played and beaten Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, and getting high (700K+) scores on Mercenaries Reunion is a blast. If only Microsoft would allow multiplayer gaming to be free of charge. Rebecca and Chris (Warrior) are my favorites to use in Reunion.
Oh, I've also been playing Soul Calibur 4. While the game is unbearably boring after completing Tower of Lost Souls, fighting Amy on Edge Master difficulty is still very fun. I LOVE Amy and Nightmare, they've been my favorite characters since SC3 and SC1, respectively. I need to do some Achievement boosting once I buy my LIVE card (or I get a PS3...).

Lastly, I've been played Resident Evil 4. I got the Handcannon, and that is a literal blast to use. xD

Currently, I'm playing Megaman Zero (just started a new game, gonna do the first mission soon), Pokemon Soul Silver (just started a new game, currently grinding Cyndaquil, Pidgey, and Mareep to level 10), Final Fantasy IV (DS version, stuck on Barbariccia), Final Fantasy III (forget where I left off, I think I was doing the cave with the Fire Crystal that I HATE to death), and EarthBound (currently grinding for the Sword of Kings which is making me so frusterated).
