waste of space, waste of gas, waste of design sensibility
also scary to drive around and also their headlights are so bright I actually hate it so much as someone with astigmatism I'm going to crash late at night one of these days because I've been run off the road by one of these monstrosities and couldn't even see and they won't even stop to file insurance or even think that they might be at all responsible in any way because I stereotype truck drivers as being exactly as inconsiderate as the vehicle they drive in

There's one at work rn that the shop actually bought for cheap because it needs work, we're gonna do some work on it then sell it, and I kinda want it, it's a 2007 Silverado 2500, but I'd still probably be a couple grand short even with selling my car. Also it's a 4x4, which isn't inherently bad, just I have no need for it, and it's a diesel, which is a lot of $$$ compared to gas (usually. Right now they're pretty close lol.)

I probably won't buy a truck anytime in the next 5 years because like Mikey said their MPG is pretty bad, I'd have to be doing some farm work or something where a pickup actually comes in handy to justify getting one. Also the nicer ones are gonna cost a boatload but I suppose that's just cars in general

Waymin, weren't you a semi truck driver for that tortilla chip company?
I distributed mission tortilla products for a year and a half yes
I meant that compared to sedans trucks (and trailers!) existing makes driving scarier just because they're around, like they take up more space on the road and the whole headlight issue

Oh gotcha. Yeah you gotta be careful around trucks cus of their size, but as long as nobody drives like an idiot i dont think its much of a real problem
