"Oh, I see", Rengo said with a curious expression on his face. "I'm sure all this will be sorted out eventually..."

"Yeah", said Rengo. "Wouldn't the Twilight Realm be fascinating to see?" He turned to Madi and spoke to her with a kind voice as not to make her upset: "Hey, um, do you have any idea at all of where the portal to the Twilight Realm from Hyrule might be located? You must have entered from...

The expression on Rengo's face turns both sad and ashamed. "I'm so sorry. It's just... I just... Oh never mind. So, what exactly are our plans now? Locating that new portal could be interesting." ((When will we be meeting up with the other group who is on their way to Kakariko?))

"You really have no idea?" Rengo exclaimed in surprise. "Have you been living underneath a rock or something? Not only was Hyrule completely covered in darkness and a seemingly eternal sadness, there were also a whole lot of people all over the kingdom who died in the war against the Twili!"...

"Yeah, I guess it is", Rengo replied. "To some extent at least." He looked down into the ground. "It's just a little worrying seeing as such terrible things happened when the portal opened last time..."

"If I'm not mistaken, Aspira, there used to be a magical mirror that functioned as the portal between our two worlds. I've heard it was somehow destroyed about twenty years ago or so, which is why this whole event is very interesting indeed!"

"Sure", said Rengo with a fairly straight face. "But tell me, Madi, how exactly did you end up in our world?" He looked a somewhat puzzled.

"Right! I just had to say it, you know. You can never be too careful." Rengo starts walking again in the direction they were going before he had interrupted them.

"...but what?"

Rengo walks away a short distance with them (far enough for nobody else to be able to hear them). He leans towards them and speaks quietly: "I seriously think we should be very careful with this stranger. I mean, we don't even know her. How do we know we can trust her at all. Don't let her...

Rengo had been walking quietly with them from the spring and he had been listening actively to everything that had been said thus far. "Hey Midna and Aspira, do you think I could talk to the two of you in private for just a short while?" He glanced suspiciously down at Madi.

((So, are we actually gonna return to Ordona, or will we keep moving toward Lanayru?))

Rengo is still standing by the edge of the spring and observing it all from a short distance.

Rengo had gotten up and stood by the edge of the water and observed with amazement in his eyes as the Twili faded into Aspira's shadow. "Whoa!"

"Thanks! How's your knee coming along now? Do you think you can stand up? I'd like you to come meet my Grandma." Rengo got on his feet and stretched his right hand out to help Midna up in case her knee still hurt.

"Yeah. I guess I'm pretty lucky after all." Rengo smiled back at Midna. "By the way, would it be okay if we don't talk about this with the others?"

"Thanks." Rengo wiped some of the tears off his face. "Do you mean King Ralis of the Zoras? I heard he lost his mom when he was pretty young. At least I never met my parents, so I reckon he had it worse... He must really miss her. Since I never met my parents, I can't really miss either of them...

"Grandma grew up over in Castle Town many years ago. Her daughter, my mom, met my dad a few years before I was born. But then..." Rengo stopped talking for a while. "I'm sorry. I just haven't ever talked about this with anyone besides Grandma before... Anyway, my dad was a soldier in the royal...

"Your knee should be better in no time." Rengo said and looked at Midna. "Hey, I was thinking we could all go see my Grandma this evening. I'm sure she'd appreciate the company, and she makes the most delicious stew in the world! And maybe Luda and Renado can come too! I think I'll go ask them...

"Oh, haha! I'm sorry!" Rengo laughs merrily. "You'd better get back in the spring though. Your knee doesn't seem to be completely healed yet. I hope you didn't hurt yourself." Somehow Rengo both smiled and looked worried at the same time.

"Splendid! I'm glad to hear it!" Rengo sits down, takes his shoes and socks off, and dips his feet in the spring water. "Ah, how nice! I haven't really gotten a proper moment of rest today until now."

"Hey!" Rengo waves back and starts walking a bit quicker towards the others. "I got some food for Warren, and then I went and left him in that tower over there", he said and pointed at the watch tower. He avoided mentioning that he had bought bombs though. "So, is your knee any better now, Midna?"

After Rengo had left the bomb shop he went and bought som bread. After that he proceeded to the watch tower of Kakariko Village where he had been granted permission to temporarily keep criminals locked up for a day or two. There he left Warren with a loaf of bread and said: "Here you go. This...

"Awesome! Thanks a bunch!" Rengo says as he gives Barnes four purple rupees and five red ones. "Have a good one Mr. Barnes! See you around!" Rengo left the shop.

"Cool! That sounds simple enough! In that case I'd like to by myself a Bomb Bag filled with regular bombs, please." Rengo started taking out his wallet. "And this criminal here's on his way to the dungeons in Castle Town, so I'll be heading there pretty soon. Tomorrow perhaps."

"Hey there Barnes! Everything's well I hope", Rengo greeted him as he pulled Warren through the front door. "Don't mind this guy. He's the thief who used to cause trouble around these parts. You might recognize 'im. Anyway, you know I only ever really use my bow as far as weapons go. Well, I was...

Unfortunately Rengo's thoughts where now elsewhere, so he didn't hear Midna calling him. He headed over towards the bomb shop in the northern part of town (still dragging Warren along).

((Oh, you were referring to the spring by the inn's roof! My bad. :))) "Right! If you go on ahead to the spring by the inn I'll catch up with you in a bit. I've got some business with old Mr. Barnes to tend to. See you guys later!"

((If you're going for how it is in the game, the spring is on the other side of the road from the inn (and sort of in the other end of town) and next to the sanctuary. But perhaps we're just doing our own version, which is fine of course.))

((The house where Luda and Renado lives is called the sanctuary in Kakariko Village.)) "Oh yeah, that's right!" Rengo exclaimed. "I always forget about that! Well, lets't go to the spring then. Actually though, the hot spring's right next to the sanctuary, so perhaps we can say hi to Luda anyway."

"Yeah, Aspira, I'm sure you wouldn't wanna miss the chance of watching Midna catch the Loach, right? I know I wouldn't miss that for the world!"

"Yeah, somethin' like that. In any case it's not too far."

"Oh, I'll help you out with that, Midna!" Rengo says as he runs over and helps her up on the horse's back. He then places Warren behind Midna and then gets on himself between the two. "There! Is everything in order?"

"Great! Perhaps we can eat on the way. We'll be three people per horse. I'll get Warren and get on one of the horses with him and somebody else." Rengo went over to the tree that Warren was tied to, untied him and brought him over to the horses.

Rengo takes a few quick steps forward and grabs Midna to make sure she doesn't fall over while trying to stand on her injured leg. "Easy there! Rengo let out a loud and satisfied yawn, then he stood up and smiled. "Ah, how nice! I hear everything's settled. Is everyone awake?" Rengo rubbed his eyes.

Rengo woke up but stayed where he was. He is extremely bad at getting up in the morning, no matter how long he's slept. He lay there and could hear Aspira (and probably also Midna) talk on the other side of the tree that he had been sleeping under.

Rengo is sleeping soundly. ((Who was the one taking the last watch of the night? I guess it was either Aspira, Rauro or Robin.))

"I'm glad to hear it!" Rengo said and finally gave the two boys a proper smile. "This way I think we'll avoid a lot of unnecessary drama. When we wake up tomorrow I'll make sure to sort things out." ((Should we skip over the night now and go directly to the morning? Or if you have something...

"I can keep watch another hour, Aspira! I'm not tired quite yet... I can wake you up when I'm ready to go to sleep", Rengo replied and went a little closer to Robin and Rauro. "Well see, at first I didn't really care much about your little plan. I mean, I barely know you two, so what business...
