  • We should :) A bit sad that I almost never have access to Internet when you "americanos/as" are awake/online! It´s tough to be European if you´re a member on this site
Gefeliciteerd met je paarse kleurtje Zeruda. I hope I'm not too late with congratulating you :P. You really deserved it ^^
Congrats on your promotion! I'm glad to see it finally happen. I've been pushing for it for two months. XD
Congratulations on achieving the HK status - you've been very active and a good poster so far and make sure you keep it up!
I haven´t talked to you yet I believe :S Anyhow, congrats on your promotion, well done :)
Thanks! n_n I've been out of commission all summer cuz I'm moving for law school, and I've been really worried that there'd be some kind of mess in the MD, since they're without any mod at all. There hasn't been. It's made it real easy for me to pop in with the limited time I have and just engage in conversation--I don't really have the time to vigilantly do my job. I've seen few other forums where people in the Debate boards were so well-behaved for so long. It's a Godsend.

I just wanted to note I take the libertarian approach on marriage (no, I don't consider myself a libertarian): Penn Jillete (sp?) of Penn & Teller fame popularized this idea, though I don't think I heard it from him. Being a Christian, it's hard for me to admit that someone who called the Bible "bull..." has the right idea about lots of stuff, but he does. XP It's not popular--yet--but I expect it to become more popular as libertarianism becomes more mainstream.
I've enjoyed our debate very much, and appreciate the respect you bring to Mature Discussion, especially considering the intense topics in which I've seen you post.

Just wanted to note that. n_n
What demonination are you, out of curiosity? I used to be Southern Baptist until I decided to be "private" (I've been a non-denominational, non-churchgoing Christian for a while, partly over personal issues).

Where I've come from has led me to believe that if I have lesbian sex with someone, it's a horrible, soul-destroying sin, but that I can sit at a resturant and say "bring on the spareribs and the crab legs!" (Which I do. Bring me pork and crustaceans or bring me death. Yummy!)

I'm just curious because I knew such demoninations existed, but I forget which ones they were.

I just find the variety inherent in modern Christianity interesting. (Also, it's why the sterotypes people have for us are something I find baffling).
It's kept me entertained. I like it better, in fact. The older games, you had to do so much, and it just burnt me out. With this, it's more relaxed. There's also plenty more to do, now that you can leave the house. One thing that bothers me though, is the aging. After a few hours of playing, my Sim turned into an old man, and I have the option to retire. It's not a bad, just annoying, if you have a problem playing as an old person. :D Luckily though, you can turn aging off. That backfires when you have kids though, as they stay babies forever.

So it's up to you if you want to get it or not. The good outweighs the bad, I say.
Yes, it's a lot easier to manage your sims. They're not so annoying, and so on. Also, getting promoted at the job is much much easier.
Yes, I am doing well. Just got the Sims 3, so I've been playing that pretty much all day. It's an interesting game.
