Were you able to complete it without help?Yeah the tedious parts are the levels of water you have to keep changing to get to different parts of the temple and then defeat the Boss.

I recollect the first time I may have used The Nintendo Guide of Ocarina, then after that I never needed help again. Were you able to complete it without help?
I had to go to an Egghead store to buy a physical copyI recollect the first time I may have used The Nintendo Guide of Ocarina, then after that I never needed help again.
I was speaking of N64 Edition. The only thing that makes the water temple tedious is the constant need to open the menu to swap between the iron boots and regular boots. This was fully fixed in OoT3D. They also changed the cutscene that plays when you lower the water level to the midway level so that it shows you the pathway that opens up, which was easy to miss in the original and basically the only reason why the original was difficult at all.
Do you say that having bested it many times or from the first time you played it? For people who have not played that temple a lot it can be challenging. Albiet the 3D version is way easier as Plinko shared.I've never had a problem with the Water Temple in any version. In fact, I'd say it's one of the easiest Temples in the game. However, missing one thing can cost a lot of time getting back to it, with the way it's designed. They never fixed that problem in the 3DS version.

Even in the first time I played it, I didn't have trouble. It's impossible to die in it. The main issue is, it's extremely tedious to go back to a room if you missed one thing. That's still a problem in the 3DS version, granted they made it slightly easier, but it's still a problem nonetheless.Do you say that having bested it many times or from the first time you played it? Maybe I just have more patience than most people, I can be stuck in a dungeon for hours, and think it's only been a few minutes, lol. That was what I said tedious. I never said it was super hard.
Seems I need to play it again… oh, the tediumThat was what I said tedious. I never said it was super hard.
The only thing that made it enjoyable to me was Dark Link.Maybe I just have more patience than most people, I can be stuck in a dungeon for hours, and think it's only been a few minutes, lol.
