Right in the same area as that shed, there was this bathroom building that obviously hadn't been tended in a while but wasn't in disrepair:

I didn't bother going inside, you can see it was kinda open at the top for ventilation and there was a screen but I didn't feel like seeing what kind of critters had taken it over. I stood in the same spot and did a 180 to get this picture:

I went up on the porch of that building and there was a barred off door:


Idk any of what was going on there, I've wanted to go back but the heat kicked in like just after I went.

If we ever get in the habit of ZD conventions we should do one at that oceanside amusement park in Galveston

There's Pleasure Pier and Keemah Boardwalk, I've been to the pier.

Kinda like the one i saw today, the spider is on the door hinge under the sign.
That's such a cute house though, really sad it's not in use, someone oughta take advantage of it.

I've been in Texas for like 2 and a half years straight now, unless I forgot something I haven't been in another state since 2021, and I'm not complaining, but I NEED to get back to the Ozarks sometime.
