I don't think that's an unpopular opinion. I personally agree with it. Also, all of the Toon Link games do take place in the Adult Timeline.

BOTW and TOTK are Reboot games

Actually Botw and Totk do take place in future around several millennia after Ocarina. That is the point of it, it takes place when many people have forgotten the Golden Goddesses and The Triforce, and why Zelda does not remember Ganon.

My unpopular opinion is I don’t care about the stories before the BOTW and TOTK storyline.
I like the linked (wink) lore, but I don’t care about timelines and time traveling.
I prefer the BOTW and TOTK stories. After playing EoW, my feeling is I hope there is a trilogy for BOTW and TOTK.

The magic meter was at its best in Zelda 2, since that was the only time it felt like it was a resource that you had to conserve.

Also the lives system was really good in that game, it just needed a bit of reworking.

The missable kinstone fusions in Minish Cap hurts the game so bad, I almost didn't finish it just because I couldn't 100% it. Minish Cap is a good game, but I don't want to play it using a guide.
