For example, Wind Waker really gave the feel that you were going on a huge adventure. TP felt like an epic quest. OoT, felt like a timeless story. MM felt like a Dark Narrative.

It's really hard to say what feel Zelda U will have... But what do you guys think? Do you think it will feel like an Epic Quest, or a big adventure, or a healthy dosage of both? What do you think Zelda U would feel like?

From the light of the game and the appearance of Link, i would like a feeling of conquest, a pinch of archeology… and some nostalgic moments with some references to the others Zelda ;-)

A mockery of Link? A handful of terrible and cliche WRPG tropes in a desperate appeal to remain fresh?

At least I hope I'm wrong.
Same. I'm hoping to FINALLY get another well written Zelda tale that has personal investment and takes itself seriously in the vein of TP. The Gerudo symbols make me want this kind of plot.

But seeing what Nintendo has made in the last couple of years I highly doubt this is a possibilty.

This is what we have FFXV for.

Xenoblade X? Not developed by Nintendo directly, but it's still one of the Wii U's highlights. I also think that Nintendo is going to borrow some cues from X, especially if the Zelda U rumors prove to be true.

And I have the FFXV demo on my PS4. It's fun, but I'm not a huge fan of some things it does. Placing the attack command on the O button is just completely backwards from what most Playstation action games do; before release, I hope that they remap it to the ◻ button. The weapon options were also kind of silly, striking similar to Kingdom Heart instead of Final Fantasy. I didn't get much out of the world until I could finally fight the Iron Giant, and from there my expectations were met.

Xenoblade definitely counts as a Nintendo game, the same as Fire Emblem and Advance Wars being Nintendo games despite being made by IS.
