Agreed.

This theory is based SOLELY on a fanfic that there is a God of Light and a God of Darkness.

Since neither of them have ever been talked about in any game ever, I think it's safe to say that for now your theory is false.

i heard this idea from my friend and i think that its pretty strait forward. since termina is a parallel dimension to hyrule the fierce deity might be the parallel version of adult link from OoT

The only thing we are told about the nature of the mask is that it is bad. That is the ONLY piece of evidence/clue we have as to what the spirit of the mask is like. Seeing as how that is the only mentioning of anything about the mask, chances are that the spirit of the mask is a bad guy and the fact that Link is a chosen warrior makes him able to control it.

That is it. It is exactly what I would have said. The mask contains an evil power but Link being a chosen hero makes him able to control the great powers of the mask.

Beside that, I've never heard about any God of Light in Zelda.

I'm not saying you're wrong, however it's only referred to the "Fierce Deity's Mask" in the English version of the game. In the Japanese i think it's called the "Devil God's Mask".

Actually in the japanese version it is refered to as the oni mask which translated into english means 'demon mask' meaning it is a mask possessed by a demon like majoras mask but much more powerful and much more mysterous but yeah you are generally correct in calling it a demon mask. however if you need japanese translations don't refer to me cuz i just read that in zelda wikia or someplace like that. Also I disagree with the poster cuz really there is no evidence to support the theory that he stated. And also who says that link wasn't being controlled by the demon inside? whos to say that demon was controlling him to destroy majora cuz it had a quarrel with him and then link managed to break free of the oni's influence. Remember link when putting on masks that transform you think through the consequences. And also saty above the influence link.
