Squatting a short distance away from what appeared to be the scene of the crime, Ardeel glares intensely at the giant fallen tree in front of him. There was no mistaking it. It was the same insignia they found in the previous floor, albeit done much more crudely since the tree surface likely didn't give the perpetrators much to work with. Scared and almost demoralized, Ardeel attempts to hold himself together as he investigates. The only other notable trait to the crime scene was a small sword found alongside the insignia. From what he could tell, it was likely the victim's, assuming there was one based on the circumstances. He doubted those who did this would leave any obvious clues are for the insignia. He then moves to examine the sword, but he only looks at it. Ardeel is horrified, but keeps it together as much as he can. Was this what the others felt when they encountered the previous scene? It felt horrible. He would have to tell the others as soon as possible.

After a little more scanning of the crime scene, and eventually adding the sole piece of evidence he found at the scene to his inventory save for the insignia, Ardeel despondently rushes back to the inn, only to be greeted by Lenora: right outside of the inn. The look on his face told the story almost too well.

Lenora becomes very worried the moment she sees Ardeel's face. Though at the same time she was happy to see he was alive and unharmed. "What happened?" she asks him with a worried voice that also hints at her being slightly mad at him for leaving so suddenly. "And where did you go? ...I worried about you."

Ardeel looks down before responding, collecting himself before replying in a soft voice tinged with fear.

"...player killing. It happened again; I-I'm sure of it." He then looks back at Lenora again, this time, saying the following: "I apologize running off the way I did, but I had to do it. Something was up as we left that maze of fallen trees. Still, I didn't mean to make you worry."

"Oh," Linora lets out, feeling quite speechless. Then she remembers. "Where are the others in our group? What if they're in danger right now because of the player killer!"

We're out questing Al replies to Oregano, It's Bel,Aiko and I. Need us to head back into town? honestly, he's kind of lost anyways. Maybe going back to town to reorient wasn't such a bad idea.

"I don't think they would be in danger, but then again, it's not like I know their locations. I know Al's with a group on a quest or something, but that's about all I can recall. Best thing we can do I suppose is stay put for now," Ardeel replies. He looks across his shoulder to pass the time, unsure of what to really say right now.
