That I feel can be freely debated.

Basically start from a basic definition of terms, and then severity.

It also means the Mods have to track behavior, if the person making infraction has a reputation of doing this, have others reported them, and of course the evidence of the posts reported.

The tension though is adding tools to deal with said behavior without making good members walk on egg shells worrying if they will be perceived as harassing; Shoutbox could in essence go quiet if too severe of a amendment is passed.

Finding the balance of stopping bullying/harassment/flamming without making people fear they will mistakenly be percieved as such and giving them a means to make their case too, to either explain they meant no offense in earnest or apologize and make restitution by good behavior from then on.

Even offline, I struggle to understand if someone is joking with me or being serious.....

For jokes, it's as simple as adding "jk (short for just kidding)" at the end.

That is the best rule of thumb. Add jk and laughing emote.

Just something I think ought to be clarified in the rules, as like an addition or amendment to the first rule that states to be respectful.

Like everything, there's different levels of disrespect, and I thought it was important to bring up and clarify.

I think a clarification to that clause is a good idea. Like perhaps explain what is respectful and maybe some examples of what is not.

Well, like there's already a rule about insulting or flaming members and trolling members.

I was suggesting something similar for peer abuse, harassment, or defamation.

Just an idea, and if it's already there, I probably just overlooked it, that can happen.

Well the emotocon already has link with question mark over it is why I’d just use it. For shrug we could have a Tetra emote.
