So i found a video by Gaijin explain Variant monsters (12 of them) and how to unlock them, how to access their quests (they replace Guild Quests those stupid ones from lvl 1-120) and what you get from doing those quests, also the leveling system on them (1-10) Something of note though is Variant weapons will Charge up hunter Arts faster, and Variant Armor will have special Skills.

We've got confirmation that MHX is coming to the west this summer as Monster Hunter Generations!

Generations seems like a fitting name. I really wanted MH3U's winter area to be included in the game, because it was a really good map, and some monsters would even open new areas to the map once certain conditions are met. There was even a nifty place where Barioths could sleep up on a cliff, and you could go up and bomb them, fun times.

Snowy Mountains from gen 2 is the best winter map imo and Im so glad its back

Also we know the localized names of the four new flagships now which are called the Fated Four

Dinovaldo = Glavenus

Gamuto = Gammoth

Raizekusu = Astalos

Tamamitsune = Mizutsune

and Beruna = Bherna

I think the localized name all fit with their respective generational villages, like Mizutsune and Yukumo and the Gammoth and Pokke village (which is a snow village)

Hororohoruru has been localized with the name "Malfestio"!

Still waiting to see what Osutogaroa will be localized as.

No official date yet, just Summer 2016.

We now have an official release date! July 15th is when Monster Hunter Generations hits the west!

There are also gonna be two limited edition New 3DS XL for North America and Europe:

North America gets the blue one

And Europe gets the red one. They're up for pre-order at select retailers.
