Link and Zelda's Relationship

They never become 'partners' at the end of any game. Once or twice it is suggested but Link never says 'will you go out with me?' Or anything of the sort. The closest to anything like that is Zelda moves towards Link at the end of AoL suggesting she will kiss him, but then the curtain comes down and we never see a kiss of the sort she could just be going to walk past him or anything. So no, they never become partners.

I think you are forgetting something important. At the end of the Oracles games, Zelda actually kisses Link. Yes! But I think she kisses Link because he just saved the land of Holodrum and Labrynna.

AoL is the only game that implies any sort of relationship, and that game was made near the very beginning of video games entirely. Back when the hero did get the princess. Times have changed. Now the hero can be just friends with the princess. The point is, it happened once (and that's not even for sure). It's never hinted anywhere else that they get together.

Dude at the end of the oracles zelda and link kiss... if that doesn't mean that on very rare occasions they become boyfriend/girlfriend nothing does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A kiss doesn't have to imply that they are now in a relationship. It can just be a gesture of thanks to Link from Zelda for what he's done to save her and her kingdom.

I think it really depends on which game it is, in most games Link and Zelda are just good childhood friends, the only one I could see possible romance in is Wind Waker, and in Twilight Princess they barely even know each other.
