a few quests done, got the bigger quiver, more hearts, and an empty bottle. on to Snowhead next.
kinda glad to be progressing the main quest now so I can get into the better sidequests. the ones I've done so far have been pretty meh, with a couple exceptions, of course. shooting gallery and the skulltula house were pretty dope. picking the dog to race? mehhhhhh

You need a certain mask to pick the right dog.
Yeah, I got the Mask of Truth before doing the dog race.
Oh. I thought the mehhhh was because it's so hard to pick the right one.
It's more because it's just a bland idea for a sidequest, if you ask me. You either have an item and still leave the right pick up to chance, or you don't and have an even worse time figuring it out. At least the reward is a piece of heart and not just rupees.
There's been times (can't remember any) where I've done something and gotten rupees where I felt like I deserved a PoH and vice versa.
