I mean that kinda sounds like the shop where I work, except most stuff that could be handy later is held onto. It's not exactly cluttered, but all the corners have plenty there. There's also a couple of spare storage sheds. It's not quite a 1:1 comparison tho since you never know what may come up in a shop, so it pays to keep random oddball items and spare parts around. It makes more sense when you're a large corporation to just throw stuff out that you know you have brand new of in warehouses somewehre.

Not to be philosophical or “deep” or anything, but even though I’ve seen similar interesting thoughts like this, I feel like no, everyone would get bored at some point if the world went on forever, cause then what would be the point of life if there was no end? The point of life is to cherish it and to live it to the fullest in the time you have, and a world with no end seems scary to me. I think the fact that I don’t live forever actually makes life that much more valuable, and it’s why life shouldn’t be taken for granted

I think living forever would suck if you were the only one who was doing that, but also yeah I agree with you for the most part, if you lived forever you'd probably have a lot less motivation to achieve anything or make a life for yourself. Knowing roughly how long you may be around for gives you a reason to put effort into and truly appreciate your existence.
Maybe I'd be cool with living longer if I was some sort of forest animal spirit, or even just a hunter/gatherer from simpler times, but in this modern world, no. (Heaven is forever but that's gonna be an entirely different experience.)

Is it only you who would live forever, or would everyone live forever in the scenario?
