Many people are free to disagree with me, but seriously, when you look at his career, modern professionals don't hold a candle to him. He had a .690 batting average, where over .300 is considered exceptional in professional baseball. He didn't earn the nickname of the Sultan of Swat for nothing.

Not to mention as a pitcher, the Babe threw pure filth, netting a Cooperstown-worthy 2.28 ERA with 107 complete games, and 17 shutouts.
