I think my main problem was the scaling, too humanistic tbh
i should show you the other "human bugs" in the artbook, as me and my friend call them

tho tbh, i think imagining a character as more humanlike to figure out their design and features isnt too weird for concept art and i thought about doing that for my game too but then the bug fables artbook released to the public and i saw that they tried that as well and yeah its a lot more cursed in practice....

one thing about the more humanlike concepts of the bug fables characters is the level of detail on them tho
