Oh, right. I wasn't looking at that post. That's my bad.

Anyway, I'm not trying to speak as if I know everything. I'm just speaking with confidence. Yeah, I've heard I come across as arrogant, and I'm really working on that, but just be glad you have the me as I am now. About a year ago, I'd probably have been banned long ago with how I talked, and I wouldn't have known why. But, this is way off topic, so let's just leave this behind, shall we? ;)

No.

Guys, JuicieJ is not arrogant in the least. He's trying very hard to interpret what Skyward Sword's plot is so that he can help it make sense to others. Yes his mind may be capricious, moving from one hypothesis to the next, but it's really always at work, analyzing the smallest details we have find ourselves missing. I've been amazed at some of the discoveries he's made, such as spotting a Piece of Heart in the Eldin exploration video. Now, that does take a sharp eye. So know that he's not conceited, however much that may seem, but merely brimming with confidence as he examines every piece of evidence.

Now move on with the general discussion.

I truthfully find the other people besides Ghirahim and his master more intriguing then those two. Who are they? Are they possibly alluded to other people in the Zelda universe? As for the creature in the middle, my belief is that it might be some form of Majora, and this game will elaborate on his origins.

I have no clue who might be Ghirahim's master, but if it turns out to be Ganondorf/Ganon, I won't be mad.

PS, i'm thinking either Majora (as an entity, not the mask) or a completely new character.

Really, I think Majora would be cool, but no. I have good reason for this. Whenever we ask nintendo for some kind MM sequel or prequel they decline. I agree. They should hold their word on something. Fierce Diety...... Again. In majora's Mask, they want the backstory to be a mystery. We really have no idea of anything on the history or even what the Fierce Diety is!!!! Now, you may say that this is why it should be. An explanation is in order.I think some mysterys should stay that way. Now, for the record there is no connection to fierce diety or the harp. Except it is awesome looking.

I think it just would not make sense to have a major character implamented so late in the game. It is probably a god of the old or an entity/diety. To have a character like ganon would not be good to the game this late in the process with so much theorizing.

That is how i feel, do not take it personally. CORRECT ME!/CHANGE MY OPINION!

Huh, it does vaguely resemble Ganon...
I still feel Ganon, though not seen or mentioned in the traditional sense, could appear as a past life of some kind. Perhaps this demon chooses to be reborn in a humanoid form or start the Gerudo so he can be reborn someday.
I don't think it is the original owner of Majora's Mask. Though the character second to the left seems to be wearing a mask. Could he be the mask's original owner?
Come to think of it, are these the other members of Ghirahim's Demon Tribe Link will face?

i really hope it's Majora. if that's true, it means Majora is the true evil behind everything. what if Majora creates ganon? that will be amazing!

Im also feeling the same about Ganon having a past life since all this new info and opening cutscene have come out. Previously I would have said that there would not be a villain remotely resembling Ganon at all, simply because of what Aonuma said about them making Ghirahim's design and character a contrast to Ganon so that Zelda fan's notice the difference. Malladus could have been called Ganon, because he was so alike.

I also think that the white faced/masked character with red eyes will be part of the Demon tribe and probably faced in the Game. The others are not quite so distinctive but I imagine they will be in the Game somehow. These must be the Guys in red mentioned by the Mogmas.

I'm unsure as to whether there will be majoras mask references simply because MM was set in a parallel world. However the mask man and Link have demonstrated that it is possible to cross between the two, and Since the eye on Majoras mask is the same as that on the fused shadow it could be possible for the demon tribe and the dark interloper tribe to be the same.

As other people in this thread have already told/typed , I think that Aonuma said that the game will touch the origins of Ganon/Ganondorf or at least how he came to be.

That being said ,I believe that this "Master" the essence of Pure Evil will be the foundation of what we call Ganon or Ganondorf.

Wether it ceases to exist as a personality and completely abosorbed by Ganon's or not I can't tell. But that's my Opinion based on the facts that Nintendo revealed to us.

I don't think this "master" will be Malladus, since ST takes place in New Hyrule, which is a whole other land than Hyrule. The fact that Malladus has been stated to be some "ancient evil from long ago" doesn't mean anything refering to SS, in my opinion. It is more likely that he was an "ancient evil" related to the land that became New Hyrule.
Almost all evils in games are named as being some "huge ancient evil". It is just to make it feel more legendary. Thus, SS is Hyrules' backstory and ST is a story that takes place in a whole other land after Hyrule has been flooded. I think it's impossible Malladus will be the "master" Ghirahim is trying to resurrect.

I also don't think the "master" will be Majora or anything else relating to Majora's Mask, like the Feirce Deity, because Termina is, like New Hyrule, a different land than Hyrule and Majora is stated to be "an ancient demon sealed away in the mask and used by an ancient tribe for hexing rituals". And in general; Majora's Mask is a unique game and doesn't relate to any other Zelda game in such way. What happens in Termina, stays in Termina :)

Moreover, the word "demon" is used in many context (especially in Japan) and there isn't any known relationship between the different "demons", who has been used in the Zelda series. Majora was refered to as a demon and so was Aganhim (not sure), Malladus and I believe the OOT Shadow Temples' Boss Bongo Bongo was shortly refered to a some "demon".

Skyward Sword has been confirmed to explain why Ganondorf shows up in OOT, so I think IF we want to say anything about who Ghirahims' Master is, the most logic conclusion is that the "master" is Ganondorfs past live, some evil that will be reborn within 100 years or some Gerudo/Koume and Kotake related entity.

But appart from all this. I don't like the idea that Ghirahim will turn out to be just some dude trying to resurrect his master. I had expected this rather unique and flamboyant antagonist to be more than just some pawn of a greater power and actually having his own egoistic motives and being power-hungry himself.
I also don't like the idea of having a TP-like scenario in which the main-antagonist will be revealed at the end of the game.

I'm just imagining the following situation: Somewhere, let's say 2/3 through the game, we have weakened Ghirahim so much that, as some sort of ultima ratio, he finally summons his master. Then, Majora's theme sets in and he finally appears, bringing great destruction to the world and it's Link's job now to seal him. This could be the "hexing rituals" of the "ancient people" which the Happy Mask Salesman speaks of in the beginning of MM. Maybe he knows more about that backstory then he's telling and that's why he is so confident in Link and thinks that only he can do it because he's a descendant of SS Link?
This is just some wishful imagination but it'd be so epic!

It has been confirmed that Ganon will not be in the game. I truthfully hope that it's Majora related, but I think that it is probably more likely to be a completely new evil, or should I say, a very old evil, seeing that this takes place a long time before OoT.

There might be a prequel to Skyward Sword in the future I think - Ghirahim wants to resurrect his Master. Maybe his Master (Demon King?) has been already killed by someone (Link?) in the past?

I wonder if this master has been mentioned in other games and we just don't realize it. And he probably will appear in a prequel, because as seen in the intro, there's talk of a great evil that rose from the Earth, which means this game won't just be answering many questions we've already had, but will also be setting the scene for future prequels to come

Didn't Nintendo once say they were finding a way to fit in a character into the story and make it work?
I'm wonder if it is Ganon.
