People usually say Megaman has the best video game soundtrack or whatever. I don't care what people say, but the Sonic series has the best soundtracks in my opinion. Thareous only showed us a little bit. Dreams of an Absolution is probably my favorite but there are different versions. Here's my favorite version.

There's a lot of good video game music. I listen to vgm more than "real" music to be honest. However, Sonic will always be my favorite.
Mother/EarthBound would probably be in my Top 5 of best vg soundtracks, I don't know where to put it. Mother 1/ EarthBound Zero has some of the best 8-Bit music you will ever hear. EarthBound/Mother 2 has some of the best 16-Bit music you will ever hear and Mother 3 has sad yet beautiful music. My favorite song in all of the 3 games has got to be Smiles and Tears. Just listen.

I don't need to explain Zelda music, maybe in a different thread but if there was any music that can make you feel like your in a different world, it has to be Metroid. Metroid's music shoves atmosphere down your throat. It makes you feel alone, by yourself, with no help. My favorite song has got to be Kraid's Lair from the original Metroid. It sounds so creepy yet beautiful at the same time.

Lets not forget about Mario. Mario is full of nostalgia for me mainly because it's the first video game series I ever grew up with. One of my favorite songs from Mario is Dire Dire Docks or Jolly Roger Bay.

Now I have more VGM, but I'll cover that later.
