Favorite Books

My favourite books are all by one of my favourite authors, Christopher Paolini and the books would be the Eragon series including Eragon, Eldest and the best so far Brsingr. I think they are great and I could never put them down, They do take a while to read though as the first book has about 400 pages, The second book about 600 and that is quite large in size and finally the third one which is the same as the econd but with 700 pages.I recommend them to anybody.

One of my favorite books right now is Little Women ^^ I find it such a classic and I am amazed at how old it is! Some of the older books I seem to like a bit more then lots of the newer ones. Im sure I will have more favorites.. it has only been a week that I really started reading again.

Right now I'm reading King Rat by China Mievelle. SO recommended if you like dark fantasy set in modern times. China is a brilliant writer, one of my strong influences.

There are three series that I really like. Those would be Harry Potter, Series of Unfortunate Events, and Fablehaven. I would suggest all those books to anyone, they are all amazing.

I just finished The Last Olympian, the final Percy Jackson book, and I must say, it was pretty darn good. It kept my interest, and it had some interesting plot twists. However, the author did set it up for a sequel, which always ticks me off. -.-

Not sure if I've posted in here before, but I do love my Fantasy Bartimaeus Trilogy, Inheritance books, Edge Chronicles and the Final Fantasy novels float my boat.

Casino Royale by Ian Fleming is still one of my all-time favourites. I love the Bond series of films, but the original novels are so much better. The first time I read it (long before the movie existed) I read the last line of the book, and then turned the page not knowing that was the last line. I thought there had to be more, and I was left shocked that this is how they ended it. It was extremely well done.

I also read the majority of Star Wars books as long as they take place before the end of the movies. Any of the ones that take place after Return of the Jedi bore me.

In general, Ian Fleming's probably my favourite author. He's able to take something mundane like Bond eating breakfast and make it interesting.

I am currently reading the Sword of Truth novels by Terry Goodkind, and I must say, they are pretty incredible. Definitely becoming a favorite series of mine.

I finally finished Eragon. It was a good book, but it's not my favourite. I still have two books waiting (Oudste and Brisingr). I think i'll start reading them in the summer holiday.

I forgot to add two english books on my favourite list. I had to read these books for english classes.

- 1984/Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell. This was book was written in 1948 and describes a future totalitarian regime in 1984. This book is very dark and can be very difficult to understand. It's a very good book though.

- On the Beach by Nevil Shute. Another old book (1957). It describes the future in 1969. Humanity is almost destroyed after a nuclear war (WW III), but people in the southern hemisphere survived. The high radiation comes closer and closer because of the wind and the people on Australia have only 3 months more to live. It's another dark book, but worth a read.

I just gonna say a few things, Oudste?, Thats the only one with a different name, In England it is called Eldest , Suppose it is the Duetch name. Also Eldest and Brsingr are a lot better so I you will probably like them a lot more the Eragon, Eragon is quite boring, Not really much of a fight at the end compared to the other two.

IDK I read only if I have too that's it reading nonfiction is a good use of time but fiction in my opinion is a waist and dosen't teach you anything

1984 is an intriguing story. I really liked it...in a dark kind of way. I guess "enjoyed" is not a good word for such a story. It was a really good read, though.

My favorite Books are:

Harry Potter Series(all of them) and Sherlock Holmes Series(Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle works not other authors.):nerd:

Harry Potter has the thrills, the adventure, the ups and downs of a boy who lived. Plus it reminds me of the Zelda series a lot. That's why i like it. for Sherlock Holmes i loved the mystery of every story what's gonna happen next it really eats me up.
