If that's the case, old games should only use whatever old magazine reviews available, modern day reviews of say alttp and LoZ shouldn't count, right?

Yeah, it's looking good so far. The way I see it, the biggest change in gameplay is being able to run slower sometimes, we'll see how that turns out.

Okay, considering that both versions are 3D, what really distinguishes the 3DS version from the Wii U, that's BESIDES any possible different levels and stuff. I would've liked it if the 3DS version was strictly side scrolling, but that's not the case here.

You talking about the 7 Chaos Emeralds on the 3DS's touch screen? Nice catch.

I'm assuming we'll have to beat the game/collect the Emeralds as per the usual. I don't see why they would just hand us Super Sonic right off the bat. That'd break the game.
