Sonic Colors was better than expected and the trailer looks promising. I don't think I'll be purchasing a Wii U just yet though so it'll have to wait. The level design is definitely interesting, like a super-streamlined version of Galaxy, and while I don't mind the 2.5D segments, I agree they did get old after a while in Colors.

Yeah I also hope there aren't boosts everywhere, really ruins it in my eyes.

I feel I should reply to this. It feels... I don't know... Necessary...

Anyway this game looks pretty good. The villians look pretty lame, though, like Pixar vomited the leftover rejects of Monsters Incorperated. Seeing the video it does look SMGish, but if they pull that off right, it won't be so bad. I would love to see some neat gravity bending segments and junk. I can't wait to see how it turns out. :kirby:.

Exclusive Wii U Color Powers can be controlled with the Wii U GamePad by tilting, touching, aiming and more. The full game can also be played using only the GamePad screen and will feature a two player support mode. Sonic Lost World for the Nintendo 3DS is the first handheld Sonic game ever to feature fully realized 3D levels which include exclusive Special Stages and Color Powers unique to Nintendo 3DS.

Also, a Destructoid article (Sonic has a new control system in Sonic Lost World - Destructoid) mentions Wiimote and Nunchuck use, but I don't see that in the Sega blog so I'm not sure about it.

What are your thoughts after seeing the game truly in motion?

Okay the game looks awesome, but my problem is the camera. Everytime you move the world moves with you, and that irritates me personally because I have eye problems. :I

Otherwise I can't wait to get my hands on it!

The camera looks a little slow on the Wii U version, which will hopefully get sorted. Or I can just get used to it

But guys, the 3DS version looks fun! What a change!

On further inspection of the 3DS version, it looks like the powers will get in the way. The object again seems to be getting to the goal int he fastest time possible, but I see the player in the vid constantly being tripped up with powers and what not. Maybe I'm wrong and it just takes me playing the game? Who knows?

What's your reaction to these gameplay videos? Are you excited or disappointed?

I'm very excited about these videos. The games both look very good, and the spin dash is back! I can't wait until this game comes out.
