And I find it awkward how most of the Zoras in TP are male... *shudder*

There is a mermaid in Link's Awakening, and while she is a dream mermaid, in the dream she is a legit mermaid... and the reaction of the Zoras to Link in the mermaid suit leads me to believe that there may be or have been mermaids somewhere at some time.
