Where does everyone think Breath Of the wild will be on the timeline?

Breath of the Wild is most definitely the most controversial Zelda of all time. Alongside that, there has been a TON of speculation of where it could possibly land on the timeline, and I for one am extremely intrigued as to where it could be on the timeline. We all know by now it's after OoT, so that only
leaves us with a few options. I for one believe it's before WW, but a lot of people don't see it the way I do. So what do you guys think?

It's definitely after Ocarina of time, and I would like to think that the hero in this game is one of the previous ones and not a new one, since he has been asleep for 100 year or so.

106 years (give or take a few) after The Hyrule Fantasy
That makes sense..... so maybe it's possibly OoT Link...? I know that is far fetched, but think about it this way. The new DOOM is taking the same DOOM guy, but waking him up when he is needed. Maybe Link had the Sages put him into an eternal sleep until he was needed again?

Link in Breath of the Wild was asleep for 100 years. Since The Hyrule Fantasy takes place 6 years prior to Zelda II, and Zelda II is the last game on the Decline Timeline, the amount of time in between Ocarina of Time and Zelda II would be much, MUCH larger than 100 years.

To place BoTW anywhere on the timeline we have to make large leaps and great omissions with the lore.

These leaps and omissions are based on what the individual believes are the most/least important connections to other games that BotW has...

This game could go anywhere and there's far too much evidence sinking and confirming far too many elements...

So, i currently believe that the best place to drop BotW for now is between OoT and WW making BotW the 'Valley' connection.

Or maybe its somewhere on the decline timeline...

I was just about to reply to you. based on what we know so far, we can see signs from Skyward sword and ocarina of time, again totally agree with you that OoT link could be this one, it would make sense that this Link is a someone we already know since he wakes up in the Reincarnation chamber.

i have seen a video which explains everything we know from Breath of the wild so far, including gameplay and theories. I will post it below and definitely worth watching.

Sorry but this question needs to be asked what the hell are some of you blathering on about a "hyrule fantasy" for? The Timeline only contains the GAMES nothing more nothing less. If it doesn't happen IN A GAME then it doesn't happen period.

Jesus Christ, it's the subtitle for the original Zelda, the fandom uses it to differentiate the first game from the series. Lower the hostility level please.

There isn't any hostility, the reason i said it didn't answer jack is because i doubt anyone bar a few know about that little factoid. Hell i didn't. Kindly don't assume Hostility. Posting an image that explains literally nothing doesn't do anything for clarity.

Now Back on Topic, and i thank you for answering my query.
