Liam sits down. He pulls out one of his more useful inventions, the hammerspace generator, presses a button, and pulls a giant chalkboard, as well as some chalk, out of the air. He starts writing down a bunch of complicated formulas. " If x equals the amount of gasoline I need to travel faster than lightspeed, what happens if I replace gasoline with a different power source? Would it not work? Maybe if the alterrnate power source was more efficient, I could travel for longer than a second. Of course, I'd need to make sure that I survive, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem. What if I modified the engine innstead? So many possibilities…"
