Angst is a lovely term that is oftentimes misused. However, I shall join in this club of angst: I am suffering at the hands of a madman and I cannot leave her grasp because she is in fact my caretaker.

Unlike the vocal minority of the Internet, I do not tend to make a distinction in gender across all nouns that I use. I call girls by "dude" just as I do with boys and even those that are non-binary.

But seriously dude, I'm just giving you a hard time. I'm a bit of a grammar freak and I have a tendency to find errors like this. There's a difference between not making distinctions between genders and defining a single subject by two different gender related terms. It's kind of like how if you might say "policeman" or "policewoman" if you know the gender but you'd say "cop: if you didn't. I just found it kind of odd that you would say "madman" instead of "madwoman" or a gender neutral term when you made it clear that the subject was a "she". Unless you were trying to go along with the semi-parodic tone of this thread, which it's hard to tell by your last post. Anyway, have a nice day.
