Well crap. I lost my mason buddy.

I'm not sure if they'd both have the same damage outputs, I'm just depressed that Koki was hit. I'm guessing he had some cool ability or something because he told me he was pretty sure he'd be targeted on night 1

Original mason implied to me that he was just a regular mason. If he had an ability, what do you think it was? I imagine the mafia is using a strategy of going after the experienced players, which is something we see on ZD a lot.

I'm pretty sure original is the name of tbe town faction. Original vs Clones. I was told I was an Original mason as well but I have an ability.

Alright. You have my trust, Libk. I admit that I've been after you the past few games, regardless of alignment, so I have some peace of mind about you now.

Also, this is pure conjecture, but I still feel good about Doc, and I feel better about Frozen Chosen, since they were the other two people to first suggest alternate methods to attacking.

Did Koki use definite words? Like "I know I will die" instead of "I think". I don't think he would chose all actions to go to him on night one. Either way I don't think it matters much

I think Mafia might have the same night attack parameters as Vig/SK. A nightkill is a nightkill after all. So probably both can do about 75% damage

Maybe not, but that's up to mafia to decide. I personally wouldn't mind a bit of damage.

He said he thought there was a fair chance he'd be potential night target. Mostly because he thought disagreeing with you on spreading damage around would give him a scummy stain.

Also Koki may not have had a choice maybe. Considering going over your damage threshold doesn't mean you're going to die. There's still chance you'll live.

Seems like town all got a role PM saying "Original [Role]". He should have been able to connect that.

idk if there's a SK in this game tbh. I can't think of a character who would fit that role if the theme is Originals vs. Clones. Except maybe Villager, because obviously, but idk man. It's possible of course, but I find it unlikely. Then again, I doubted there was a third party in Dollhouse, and turned out to be wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, I can't say I'm overly surprised Koki was killed. What does surprise me, however, is that he was targeted by both mafia and what I believe is the vig (maybe SK but I don't think so). I can see mafia killing him, but I didn't see much of anything that would justify a vig kill on him. His actions during the first day were townish to me, or not scummy at least. So maybe it was an SK? Idk, I'm just thinking aloud at this point.

Except this is Originals vs. Clones. And the word "original" is in all our role pms, or at least that's what I've gathered given what's already been said and my own pm. You must know this if you're an original, yes?

Also, Alit said he felt really good about Kokirion during Day 1. Not concrete by any means, but worth keeping in mind.

I admit that was an oversight on my part. I posted while dead in a League of Legends match, so I just wanted to get some thoughts down during the time I was unable to use my character during the game. Anyhow, this situation is pretty similar to TF2 mafia where Johnny said he didn't know there was a division between Red and Blue and people jumped on him pretty quickly, even though he was a vanilla townie, so he knew about the color factions. It just didn't occur to him at that moment.

@Eduarda good catch on the ALIT thing. I can support his story though, having it also slip my mind for a few moments.

Moving on, this debacle pretty much sends me straight to town territory on LD (obviously). I think the idea that he was a lightning rod makes sense, seeing as how both the maf and SK targeted him. I could be wrong though, since obviously the healer didn't help him last night. Does anyone have any thoughts on that?

I'll talk more tomorrow but it's past midnight. This is just initial thoughts on the night.
