If I get to play the game before my little sister, yes. Actually, I'm probally going to name him Link no matter what.

Speaking of naming characters what they aren't canonicaly called, have you ever noticed that in Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, you can't name Matthew anyone's name that has an entry in the encyclopedia? For example, you can't name him Issac because he has an entry. My sister was goofing off with what to name him and found this out.

I have used several different names for Link in the past, but for the last 5 years or so I've used just Link. I like it.

Same here... I used to use my real name, Amanda, but... now I will just call him either Link or Blue. Blue is usually the second playthrough, though. So... I think I will stay true to this trend I have set for myself and just name him Link for now.

Link, Classic. I usually keep him Link through and through. Second playthrough I name him something funny.

I like Blue Toon Link for some reason... I like Red, too, but...
There is no particular reason I name him that on the second playthrough, I just seem to do that... Though in Spirit Tracks, I named him Blue in my first file.

well when i first played oot i didn't know link had a name so i gave him mine. then when i played tp i saw that he already had a name but i add my name to his. now i just call him link. i found out that my name being a girl's name doesn't work right in ever conversation that link has with other people in the game.

In the past I renamed Link "Federico", is my second name.

But now I renamed he Link.

I'll go with Link, as I always have. Just seems more like a Zelda game to me when the hero is named Link.

I will either:

1. Name myself Dr3W (like I usually do first time around)

2. Name myself Link (like I generally do my second run)

It varies at times. In WW, I named myself Link first time. In TP, OoT, and MM, I named myself Dr3W.

When I play through the first time I am going to use my username: "Knowlee". Afterwards on subsequent playthroughs I will use "Link" or some other name depending on what I feel like calling him.

Yeah, I always name him Link in my first file to keep it the way it's meant to be. On my second half a** run I name him after me. Turo.
