Rating the Star Wars

None of the Star Wars films are really good films. You could argue that the original is a great example of pure cinema, but it's blockbuster action movie fare at its most mundane. For all the hate that Avatar gets for being a thinly plotted special effects extravaganza, you'd think people would hate Star Wars too. Empire Strikes Back is the only one that comes close to being a good film, as it features the only character development that doesn't make me groan.

I didn't really mind the prequel trilogy. It could have been better, but I still enjoyed it.
