Although I can't exactly call it basic, since it's clear at least some effort was put into it, it's very colorless and not overly attractive. The background appears to be a plain white with some effects on top of it; I think that more could have been put into it. Also, maybe it's just me, but the animal render seems very awkward... like it was either rendered badly, or the picture wasn't from a good angle, or something. Finally, something could have DEFINITELY been done with the text at the bottom – a lot of people ignore text and make it simple, but it actually can help the signature look a lot better. ^^
