that's kinda the issue

if I'm reading Fig right

they thought I slipped up and revealed I was in a chat

yet I get the impression that, contrary to almost everybody else in the game, they had zero concerns about it being a Mafia chat until pressed further

and only Mafia would know for sure I wasn't talking about a Mafia chat

so I think Fig is just Mafia who let slip they knew the chat I was referring to couldn't be Mafia chat

The only one way this makes sense would be if you knew that I knew there was a chat that obviously isn't a mafia chat. Jumping through large loops to reach that point. I fail to see how this makes any sense.

Also Killjoy, you need to find another color for your leans please. That yellow is bad on my eyes lol. Or just do shades of red/green.

It literally can go either way. I've seen people slip-up they have a chat and have been outed as mafia. It's why I'm only partially acknowledging it. Even if they are town, them saying "Oh well Pen gave me a chat tho" (I'm paraphrasing) is a slip-up or at the very least, a leak and now we have some kind of lead of what Fext is.

I would like to know as well. As far as I'm aware, I'm unfair because I pointed out the fact that they mentioned a chat being given out. Being that we are in a game of mafia, naturally the more information we can determine, the better it is for town.

- if there's a major discussion among two players -> take one side and push the other
- if there isn't a major discussion among two players -> hound one of them based on something that pinged you and be one of the main parties
- concluding the discussion was pertinent and place a vote

I feel like Seanzie skipped straight to the last parts which just ends up grabbing my attention.

This is one way to play mafia... there are others though. I rarely participate in RVS, only occasionally fluff, and often try to get the game going asap with real thoughts. I also have caught multiple wolves off their first post of the game, and have been caught as wolf off my first posts before, so I weigh early game stuff heavily, even when it is supposed to be "rvs", that doesn't mean it is NAI.

Now, the real question though... your attention has been grabbed... what is your assessment of the situation? I know you originally thought I might be 3p. Is that still the case, or?

I agree. I don't see the harm in skipping to part 4 though, since the first two parts seem low-value to town in comparison to the high-pressure environment that a proper tussle can result in. That sort of environment didn't really end up coming to fruition, at least as you described it, but it did result in some amount of meaningful discussion occuring which I think is a pro-town outcome.

there's not much of a case around it other than speculation, as of right now you're pretty null

If it was bait, it didn't work, otherwise I would have voted for Fext. Having a chat doesn't make one mafia, that should be easy to agree with. It makes no sense for me to immediately point my finger onto Fext just because they mentioned this chat if it even does exist. I need more evidence to vote for someone for something so trivial like that. In that case, if you or others want to know why I voted Light, it's because like Light said, I was still a little salty with the previous game, though it's super trivial at this point because it was during RVS.

Considering how Fext sounded genuine to if people were suppose to have unique colors in this chat or game in general, that's why I was curious that what they were alluding to because in forum games, that's not going to happen. You'll only see it in games like Among Us when you are part of the mafia team. I believe in Town of Salem every still has the same black name color but the caveat is that the grouped players (mafia, lovers/escorts, jailer and whoever they jailed, etc.) will be speaking to each other at night when applicable.

Did you think that fext slipped and revealed that they were in a chat?
If Yes: Did you think it was possible that the chat they were in was the mafia chat? If you didn't, why didn't you? If you did, why didn't you vote for them?
