If you can't read the context in that post, pretty much what I'm saying is that I had no way of knowing if what I was saying was perfectly fine or completely wrong and as such you cannot hold it against me unless you hold other people's doings against them.

While I said something in the chat that is considered "inappropriate", and may be considered against the rules, at the same time I shall state that it was completely unfair due to the fact that multiple times other users have said things that are just as bad or worse as that, which have then become a conversation that even the admins themselves are a part of.

Your behavior hasn't showed signs of improvement, so that's why I took action. You have said quite a lot of inappropriate and sometimes quite disturbing stuff, which is against the rules. I genuinely thought Shiro was joking, if he wasn't and you felt insulted, report it and let us know.

Johnny T. Carter? If so, I can also highly recommend this lawyer. Dan referred me to him years ago, and he helped me prosecute this lady named Susan who we took to court for damaging my property. She didn't like it when I loudly called my pigs to eat everyday, so she vandalized my things, especially my footwear and vehicles. He helped me sue Sue for damaging my shoes and Subaru for yelling suey.

But I guess the thing is about these forums is that the only time anyone cares about me is when I'm doing something they don't like, so it must seem like it, doesn't it?

I think this thread should be used as a last resort when disputing disagreements with staff members. I can understand why you feel frustrated, Blue Canary, but the first thing I would recommend doing is talking to whoever banned you from the Shoutbox. It's important to understand their point of view. If you still can't come to an agreement, you should try to contact another staff member, preferably someone who was present when you were banned, for a second opinion. As someone who's worked with the forum staff before, I know it can be very stressful to have to take what should be a private conversation into a public thread right away. If you want the staff to start taking you more seriously, you have to show the initiative to try to understand the opposing viewpoint and reach a negotiation if at all possible.

I never asked for a medal for acting how I was supposed to.

I was just saying it wasn't right to say I never improved when you weren't paying attention to whether I improved or not.

Again, though, my reasoning still stands.

I don't care if I'm banned as long as you keep it fair for everybody.

If I get automatically get banned for talking about buttsex, then anyone else who mentions it get's autobanned, too.

Also, I know this isn't quite relevant here, but can we please discuss why when awhile ago, Dan mentioned masturbation, no one cared, but as soon as I made a follow up that wasn't quite as bad, everyone got on my case and they threatened me with a ban.

And don't tell me the difference is that Dan hasn't been warned. Because I know that isn't true.

Pretty much, my reasoning is as such:

I do not care that I got banned on the terms that everyone else who does the same thing I do gets the same punishment.

However, that does not appear to be the case.

My reasoning behind why I did not deserve to be banned is that the admins pick and choose what they consider "innappropriate", therefore it is almost impossible to be certain of what is and isn't acceptable.

I am fine with the reasoning that what I said is not appropriate as long as it applies to all users and everything else of the level.

I'm contesting an infraction on behalf of someone else.
Kitsu just infracted the user DARK MASTER for an exchange on the shoutbox. Kitsu has a well known grudge against DM and has falsely infracted him for a shoutbox conversation before.
The message was:

Notice that several others were playing along with it too but Kitsu chose to single out DM again due to his grudge, again.

Also there has a been much more lax standard on what is "too inappropriate" since we switched to Xenforo. And this was relatively tame. It was a harmless joke. Notice that people didn't even get it so you can't even make a case it was too inappropriate. No one understood it until I explained it. And only DM was singled out. Nevermind that many others, Kitsu included, have said way worse things than this. This was a very clear case of him yet again abusing his power to carry out another one of his petty grudges. It should be reversed immediately and DM's shoutbox ban should be removed and something should be done to stop this from happening again in the future.

I'd like to commend the mod team for having a thread for open discussion to debate infractions, and I'd also like to thank them for having a pretty reasonable Mature forum, open for debate on tough subjects.

I got temp banned on 3DS forums for merely posting a video of someone who was involved with a male rights group, for supporting hate speech. I never received any official warnings, not even a PM telling me why I was banned. I ended up trying to dispute it, and they actually ended up changing the rules so they could actually classify linking individuals even related to a group they didn't like as some how condoning hate speech. As many of you know, it's unhealthy to remove peoples opinions just because they don't support your own agenda, and I'm glad this forum hasn't fallen victim to unnecessary censoring. Hope it stays that way.
