For me it's how round the heads are, penguins don't have heads separate from they necks, they're like bowling pins, and the ones in the 64 were like that too so seeing them round is odd. They also just, don't fit the mario style? Idk, I felt like that was one major point where the illumination style was really showing

Once I have a free day I think ima try an any% legitimate sm64 speedrun, but in one day, and without researching strategies beforehand (not because I'm cool, because I am lazy)
If I do I fully expect it to take like 10 hours or so
