Well, I'm all for it if it is done well. Let's not have another Super Mario Bros movie *shudders*.
Have you guys seen The Zelda Project's work? They cosplay and I believe they are thinking of making a movie...pretty sure they sent or are going to send a trailer to Nintendo to get funds and rights and stuff.
I love their cosplays though, perfect down to the last detail.
