From the items listed I'd choose the bow. Outside of that maybe the Pegasus Boots, or the bomb arrows (if that counts)

I like the Fierce Deity's Mask best too, but as far as non-mask items go, I like the ball-and-chain best. Just smash the $#%&*@ out of everything. :P

Like Rizardon, I mainly gotta go with the Bow and Arrow here. I love the sharpshooting (I've always loved sniping in shooters) and some of the games in the series are especially rewarding for those who are good at nailing stuff from afar. I got good enough with the Bow in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask that I could pin Keese from waaayyy across a room. I also loved the Bow controls and aiming in Skyward Sword and how far you could should with that if you were good at ranging your shots and adjusting the height of the reticule. Classic sniping!

Second place would go to the Pegasus Boots, as I always love charging around Hyrule Field in A Link to the Past and to a lesser degree The Minish Cap. I'd love to see the Pegasus Boots implemented in 3D not as a simple running mechanic like in Skyward Sword but as a similar bull rush in a straight line without turning or at least effective turning, in order to really bash into things like in its 2D appearances.

The Bow and Arrow was always a favorite of mine, and is the item that I typically look forward to getting the most. I love how it's become more than just a standard ballistic weapon—it's consistently had some trick to it, such as in the first game where it drained your of Rupees after each time it was used. And over time it evolved to the point where, with the Magic Meter integrated, it had Fire, Ice, and Light attachments (I'm not sure if these were first used in OoT or an earlier game), effective for bringing down tough foes quicker. Then Twilight Princess introduced bomb-arrow and hawkeye combinations for the Hero's Bow—my all-time favorite use of this item. It just kept getting better and better all the time, even in Skyward Sword, where it attained new capabilities through updating it.

What is Your Favorite Weapon/tool in the Zelda Series?

I would have to say my favorite weapon would have to be either the Bow or Biggorons sword, if I could have one in real life it would be the master sword, what about you guys?

What Items Were the Most Useful?

There are a lot of items in the zelda series, I think the Hookshot is one of the most usefull items in the series it can help you reach the unreachable, pull you across canyons kill and stun enemies, it's simply awesome, but there is another item that deserves more love, the humble empty bottle, the bottle can hold potions, creatures and of course milk, you can go to the edge of death and beyond and that humble little bottle pulls you right back.

what item were most useful to you?

bow and arrows. There are so many different uses for the bow and arrows, especially in the games with the elemental arrows. Not only that but, they're so much fun to use (I think anyway) in the wii games (sniping bokobublins like a baws!).
oh and I totally agree with you about the hookshot, that things freaking awesome and useful
