number's role doesn't look that strong to me. Generating gold doesn't mean much in theory in a game with marketeer. I forget exactly what the win condition for gold is but it would be hard for anyone without stealing abilities to accrue more gold than the marketeer. I would guess DW had 2000+ gold when they died and numbers' claimed generation of ~100 gold a night won't really put a dent in that. Compared to a role+alignment cop and a triple mass motivator numbers' role does not stand out at all to me. It might even be in line with more subdued roles like laurentus' and minish's.
