Tenebrae focused the last of his energy at the skeleton. When it had stopped moving, he charged and quickly unleashed a burst spell directly at it. 2 damage
For some reason, the skeleton had been carrying the sheild the entire time, but he had yet to use it. Curious. Even more curious, is the fact that he saw the burst spell coming. Instead of dodging it, as there was easily enough room between it and Tenebrae, he instead simply raised his shield.
The shield caught the blast, and instead of taking it in brunt as one would expect, it instead somehow funneled the power of it through the stone in the shield. The green stone in the shield, the red stone in the shield, and the blue eyes, all glowed brighter, and the skeleton itself seemed to radiate a dull white light.

"Navoilax. Navoilax foz felax."

The skeleton, resounded with satisfaction.
He then, quickly, from the top down, dissolved into dust. The helmet, sword and shield clattering to the ground. The bars blocking the exit screechingly slid down, past the doorway, to some unknown location below.

 

[Celeboy]

"Wow..." I mumble. "What the hell just happened?"

 

[DekuNut]

"I think the stalfos just died," I said, picking up the shield, "Interesting... maybe I'll take this..." he said.
(Justeazy? CAN we take them?)

 

[Justeazy]

Yeah, you can take it.

After the Battle, Tenner recover's the skeleton's shield. It doesn't retain it's magical properties, and looks completely worn, in spite of it's flawless appearence before the battle. But it should be sturdy.

Tenner gets a worn metal shield. No defensive improvements over the wooden shield, but it is fireproof.

 

[Celeboy]

I look around where the stalfos fell and try to loot what is left. I also pick up the sword (Did it have a sword?).

Evan picks up the Stalfos helmet. He wonders how it might help him.

Evan goes through the newly opened doorway.

(Assuming the door is unlocked) I walk back to the stair room and retrieve the other 2 bottles from the broken chest.

(I think its unlocked. I'm wondering whats inside)
(Justeazy, was the stalfos a mini boss or something?)

(The doorway is the same one, the only one, that closed, which is the way back to the bottom of the large stairway.)
Following Tenner's lead, Tenebrae and Evan loot the remains. Tenner grabs the skeleton's sword, and Evan grabs the helmet.

Locke heads back to the stairway room before everyone else, passing the empty bottle he left in plain sight before the hallway, and collects the two empty bottles before anyone else can find them.

Celeboy:
Tenebrae gets a worn long sword. There is no damage bonus, but you get a +2 to hit based on it's range.
dinolink:
Evan gets a worn ancient helmet. It has no practical use, but it's of an ancient design and may be worth something.

Your inventory is now full: Key Bow, Torch, Red Potion, 2x Empty Bottle. If you want to get your rope back (that you left tied to the railings on the stairs above) you'll have to drop/give something, or let someone else have it if they want.

Evan and Tenebrae are standing out around the entrance to the bottom of the large stairway room, while Locke hangs around the the pile of rubble.

Meanwhile, Tenner, Galt, and Shadow are still standing around the remains of the skeleton in the second light hub.

 

[DekuNut]

Tenner returns to the stairs, "I can't help but feeling that we're missing something," he told the others.
