This is the game thread for Zelda Dungeoning. The rules and sign-ups can be found HERE.
(Send me your ideas for the next dungeon!)

The sun was just setting.
A group of adventurers from all parts of the land had assembled, deciding they would work together to vanquish evil while all supporting their seperate interests. This group consisted of Shadow, a Zora; Galt, a Sheikah; Locke, a Sheikah; Tenebrae, a Sheikah; Mizu, a Hylian; and Tenner, a Zora. On the edge of Hyrule field where a new cave had been discovered. Exploring this cave, two innocent children had entered the cave, and never returned. The Hylian guards sealed the cave until it could be made safe, and called together this band of to-be heroes to clear it out. The contract stated that each would be paid 250 Rupees upon successful completion of the mission; but it is expected to be dangerous and no action would be taken upon failure. However, regardless of the reward, most of these had come here for their own reasons.

As they approached the entrance, the wind blew across the tunnel, creating an eerie moaning, howling sound. The group looked at eachother. The look was understood, so they started forward. Stopping immediately as an old man had seemingly materialized in front of the mouth of the cave. He approached each in line and put something into their hand. Looking down, it was a ring. Although it was uncertain what it did, the brilliant white stone was glowing softly. Looking up from their rings, the group was startled to see the man had disappeared as quickly as he appeared.

Entering the cave, the first room is almost empty. There is a crate of torches near the entrance, enough for everyone to grab one, and there are two ropes on the far wall. One is neatly coiled and the other is simply thrown against the wall. Two corridors lead away from the first room, one to the left is dark, and the one to the right has a soft glow coming down the hallway.

Lock picks up a torch from the box and puts it away to save for later. Heading over to the ropes, he starts picking up the one just thrown against the wall. In all the mess he doesn't notice that one end of the rope stretched off towards the ceiling. While gathering it up, he hears a 'click' and jumps as the whole room begins to rumble. A large stone slab thunders down, slamming into place in the entrance to the dungeon.

The room is now significantly darker, so they wait a minute for their eyes to adjust. With the realization that the only way out will be to go farther in, Locke manages to rip the rope down, puts it into his pack and heads down the corridor that is softly emmanating light.

He soon comes to a crossroad. The white light that is in this tunnel splits; this small room is nothing more than a junction of four different paths. To the left a blue glow fills the corridor, the corridor straight ahead has a steady pulse of red light, and the path to the right radiates a green light. The three lights combine and spill a white light back down the corridor towards the first room.

Locke heads down the red path. After a short distance it stops as a small room. This room is perfectly round, without any creases or seams on the walls. Whoever built this place must have been a greater stonemason than Hyrule's most famed workers.

In the center of the room, a fist-sized red stone sits utop a pedestal. It's clear the light is emenating from this stone, though exactly how is uncertain.

(Just a side note that you don't have to do anything third-person because you ARE Locke for this game. That being said, you can if you want to. :))

Locke heads back to the light hub and turns down the green path. After a short distance it stops as a small room. This room is perfectly round, without any creases or seams on the walls. Just like the red room, the craftmanship is beyond excellent.

In the center of the room, a fist-sized green stone sits utop a pedestal. It's clear the light is emenating from this stone, though exactly how is uncertain.

I attempt to grab a torch and the neat rope, then wait for Locke and the rest of the group to be ready to go.

After the entrance slams shut, as Locke heads down the lit corridor alone, Galt decides he will grab a torch too. He picks it up, and the coiled rope, putting both into his pack, and hangs back with the rest of the group; assessing the situation. Meanwhile, Locke decides to investigate the strange glowing green stone. He touches it cautiously, and sensing nothing, decides to try to pick it up. Using all his might, he succeeds... in learning it won't budge. The stone is immobile, cemented onto the pillar.

EDIT: (PSST: You saw where he went, though if you follow him you won't know which colored corridor he went down.)

"I think Locke went down that glowing path," I reply, "Shall we go and try to find him, and see what is going on in this cavern?"

I go and pickup a torch, inspecting it all round, and then go and follow Galt, looking around nervously...
