Music is one of the things I look forward to when I play a Zelda game for the first time (I'm specifically excited for WW's music).
All of the ones I've played each have some great, catchy music. But I think I'll go with Skyward Sword's epic orchestrated music.
Yeah, an ice dungeon would've been nice, even an entire snowy region.
Besides originality and all that, I actually really enjoyed the Fire Sanctuary more than most of the other dungeons is SS. The core dungeon/puzzles were pretty cool. I thought the Mogma Mitts were okay, and Ghirahim II, while...
There have been plenty of times where I repeatedly fall into the same abyss in certain dungeon rooms, specifically in ALttP. But also that one room in the Spirit Temple with the Beamos and those other creatures that hate fire (forget what they are called).
Sky Keep like others have said.
Others that come to mind include the Sandship (I didn't really realize it was a dungeon until I fought the miniboss!), Ancient Cistern, Snowpeak Ruins, and Skull Woods.
I usually prefer to get Imprisoned 2 over with at the beginning. I found that one really annoying when I first tackled the lightning round, but now it's not a big deal.
Just finished Skull Woods, which started to drive me crazy, as I couldn't defeat the boss. Then I found out it's recommended to buy the magic/green potion, which helped out a lot. :)
Based on what I played:
Skyward Sword. I find orchestrated music was so moving and so epic. This has to be No. 1 for me.
I'm looking forward to music in Wind Waker when I first play WWHD (I don't want to the music yet before I play :))
Well last night I downloaded an emulator of Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap on my new laptop. Now that I'm away at school, I don't have access to any of my other Zelda games :( (MC is the first Zelda game I've played in over a month now). I'm gonna get caught up all these Zelda games I haven't...
I've never played the original version, so I will definitely get it. I probably won't get when it comes out though; but probably will during the holiday season, as I'll be away at school. :(
Twilight Princess: Nothing :)
Skyward: Quite a few actually
Ghirahim II: Just surprisingly hard.
Bilocyte: didn't know that I could deflect his spitballs with my sword.
Ghirahim III: didn't know what to do in second phase. I had to talk to Fi and eventually figured it out.
Demise...
I'm a huge fan of roller coasters, so I love this idea!
I'd love to see a 3D dark ride (like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey in Universal Orlando) where you're going through a dungeon escaping traps, fighting bosses and whatnot.
The Loftwing themed ride should be either a flying...
Fun idea, but hopefully won't happen :P
But for my mode of transportation? I'd definitely chose the Spinner from TP! (only if it maintained its speed on the ground).
Today I just downloaded Zelda Classic on my Mac OS X and started playing the original LoZ. I got off to a slow start. I had some tough times with the overworld enemies and wasn't expecting this much exploration. And I'll be honest: I was too lazy to find the dungeon location myself and looked up...
My favorite boss in general was Koloktos. What fun. :)
Though favorite boss to fight was Ghirahim II. Sometimes a regular sword duel is what I like best <3
Hardest: Demise. Died so many times.
Least favorite? I dunno. Fyrus maybe? I don't hate all of them, but there was nothing special about...
TP 3 <3 Challenge - haven't died yet (at least from an enemy ;))
Minecraft
LEGO City Undercover - Quite funny, but the gameplay isn't anything special.
Dungeons with more than one theme. Kinda like Ancient Cistern in SS, which I thought did a pretty good job with that. I also would like to see dungeons we haven't seen before.
SS for me. Absolutely loved the orchestrated music. The game had a nice mix of different styles of music. From the epic Koloktos/Moldarach battle to the powerful but relaxing Gate of Time theme and the goofy Kikwi theme. The entire soundtrack as a whole is pretty damn good!
Then again, I've...
I actually am not really bothered by most of the flaws in the game. Okay, just maybe the treasure notification every time you load up the game, but other than that, nothing really. SS does have its flaws, but they didn't really affect my opinion about the game.
They don't necessarily need to be a weapon, but what I'd like to see is them using magic and spells on enemies and using magic to heal you during combat.
Here's a few of my favorites:
"An impressive looking blade... but nothing more." - Ganondorf, TP
"Do you know how that makes me feel inside? Furious! Outraged! SICK WITH ANGER!" - Ghirahim, SS
"Behold! Such beauty! Such a pure form! Such an exquisite physique! Such stunning features! Yes I...
TBH, when I first thought of the idea of non-linearity in Zelda, I wasn't sure about it. But now it does sound pretty interesting, just as long as Nintendo does it right. I'm glad Aonuma wants to change things up a little bit.
Skyward Sword is my favorite. <3 It was mainly the gameplay that got me going; I had an absolute blast with the motion controls. The music is unforgettable, the story is wonderful, and the graphics and great! While the game does have its flaws, not all of them really bothered me.
I first played TP when I was 10, although I had the game for about two years (it was originally my older brother's game). My older brother suggested that I should try out the game, and so I did. It was a lot different than the other games I had been playing at that age, which was nice.
