Trying out Little Witch in the Woods now that I beat potato game. It's still in early access but I snagged it over the winter sale and since I just beat one cozy game, I think this is my speed. Only issue of note is some annoying stuff with joystick to dpad mapping--I ended up having to...
Been playing a cute dungeon crawler called Potato Flowers in Full Bloom. It's... interesting? It has some metroidvania elements which is very odd for a dungeon crawler but it is executed very well. Super cozy game, probably one of my favorite random gaming finds in awhile.
Started Sundered earlier today. It's the last indie on my to-do list for the time being. I watched a friend play this a few years ago but I can't say I remember a whole lot from her playthrough. I don't think I picked the same starting area as she did at least.
I've been working on playing all the bug games that I have in my Switch and Steam libraries, which I suppose while not particularly spooky, does thematically fit with the season a bit. Currently playing Metamorphosis, although I believe I'm nearing the end of it now.
Oh yeah, so now that I finished my playthrough of Rune Factory, I have moved onto the other DS game that I love to replay a bunch, Phantom Hourglass. Currently living the curious dream of using my 10 year old drawing tablet for the touch controls and making dumb gifs of things as I go.
Splatoon 3! Still not gutsy enough to try ranked battles, but I've been having a blast in turf wars.
I hit the midgame/intermission of Rune Factory 1, so I'll probably be getting back to that after the initial Splatoon 3 binges become more normal play sessions.
If you wanna get into the series, I personally recommend 4 over 5 as I feel 4 better captures what the series is about, while being more accessible than the other titles. 5 is still good, but it doesn't compare to 4 imo.
I actually felt the same when playing this. I hadn't really played Story of Seasons since, well, it rebranded to Story of Seasons, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it definitely felt like it took way more notes from Stardew. I enjoyed it though. It had kind of a nice overall vibe.
I too am playing Three Hopes, but most of you already knew that. Some of the pacing problems in Three Houses seem to be a lot better in this game, but I am unsure how much the momentum will last since there is still a lot of micromanaging between battles that makes doing lots of map scenarios...
Focusing less on my Switch lineup right now as I work on going through some games in my Steam library. Started Tales of Berseria last night.
posting opening because its good
Just starting Webbed. I'm probably not done with Celeste, but I can forsee my focus on it dwindling now that I finished the main story. Also, I am working through AI: The Somnium Files on my Switch too.
Probably have a final session for my current Hollow Knight playthrough. At 109% right now. Did the palace and second and third pantheons last night. Traitor Lord and the fourth pantheon will put me at 112%, and then I'll go for the endings. :ok_hand:
And then afterward I'm gonna shift gears...
Thinking I'm gonna do that seventh playthrough of Hollow Knight. Aiming to complement my four hour playthrough I did on Switch and get both speedrun achievements on Steam tonight.
I'm currently trying out this demo too! It's my first time playing a new series entry since they've rebranded to Story of Seasons. It definitely feels different from the Harvest Moon I know, but I really love the charm and I think I'm gonna get it.
I really need to figure out what to do with the rest of my island. Only the main area is really structured and everything else is a mess. My experience with New Horizons has been basically, there's almost nothing do, but I still manage to waste my time doing the nothings instead of actually...
I don't know how long I'll stick to it but last night me and a couple friends just like picked Animal Crossing back up to see the horrors of our unmaintained towns. I really do wanna get back to playing though, I haven't played much this year and I am in need of some chill games right now...
Sort of working my way into playing Chrono Trigger. I say sort of because I'm very distracted at the moment and my sessions haven't been extremely long or productive.
I can tell I'm gonna enjoy this game, especially because I Am Setsuna is like a tribute to it in a lot of ways. I can feel it...
Taking a short break from the Splatfest, and am playing some Carrion as my Halloween game. It's just Untitled Goose Game but with spaghetti, and you can't change my mind.
Been playing FE Three Houses. This playthrough's been such a slow grind but I hope to finally make it to the timeskip of Crimson Flower tonight if I don't get burned out on chapter 11. These auxilliary maps breaking my pace for sure.
The 1.4 update finally came to consoles so I'm back to playing Stardew Valley. It's so nice to play this while not sick. Last time I played it I was so miserable, god.
Been playin' lots of Smash Ultimate lately and tonight I finally decided to dust off World of Light and try the NG+. Going with hard difficulty since I already did the full playthrough on normal. It'll hopefully be a good way to go for the duplicate spirits for summoning purposes I guess...
SNES Online is distracting me from playing Transistor because I apparently am just gonna keep playing games I've played before over a game that I haven't. Super Metroid now...
its weird to say ive already played smash ultimate for 24 hours when its only been out for a day, but yeah smash smash smaaash
i have also unlockdd all the characters and have been doing a lot of goofing around with the spirits board. havent done much with adventure mode yet though.
Alto in Stella Glow irritated me because he was literally Kirito from Sword Art Online. In personality and appearance. He improved a little throughout the game, I guess, but Stella Glow would vaguely be classified as a harem game, so the male protagonist sort of gets all those dumb cliches...
I ended up getting this one. Was looking into Ys III and decided Shining Resonance looked more appealing. It reminds me a lot of Stella Glow--in both story and musical mechanics--but with a different gameplay format. I don't have much experience with real time rpgs, so I can't really speak on...
Pokémon Ultra Sun. I put it down back in early to mid January after getting to Poni Island--which was at least further than I got in the original version of Moon--but I finally picked it back up last week or so. Managed to actually finish it, though I'm putting off the postgame episode for the...
My last playthrough was only a couple months ago, but I'm playing Rune Factory 3 again. Nothing like trying to harvest vegetables and having your pet blob of sentient slime following you around as you do so and accidentally giving your vegetables to said blob. Authentic RF3 experience.
