It is a fantastic game in this generation. Skyward Sword ranks up with SMG 1 and 2, GTA IV, MGS 4, Uncharted 2, Batman: Arkham City, and TES V: Skyrim as unadultered gaming bliss.

It's a fantastic Zelda game, it's just not exactly a fantastic game in this generation. It's too late.

But in the case of Skyward Sword that toppled with new series innovations including harder and better bosses and enemies, the stamina and shield meters, item upgrading, seamless blending of dungeon with overworld, a useful companion, and so much more make it a candidate for most full-featured game in years.

Since you mentioned that, I will admit that COD 4 was revolutionary but from there the franchise plummeted.

Yes, my little grasshopper I'm not a good gamer. Mario is my specialty not Zelda. I have no idea why I joined this forum in the first place but it's been one amazing ride.
