  • This is a clearly biased comment. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata himself maintained that the Wii was never meant to be a casual console. Launch games like Twilight Princess and Wii Sports gave the Wii a bad reputation with ports and more casual games.
I'm very persistent. Wii isn't as good as say Gamecube but it's still great. At least, it's not plagued by numerous FPS games...so much variety. Wii U will shock the world. When Nintendo plays with power, Sony and Microsoft will squirm.
I felt the need to tie up some loose ends from yesterday. The last great Wii games I would like to mention are Cave Story, Fludity, Punch-Out!!!, MotoHeroz, Dead Space Extraction, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Megaman 9+10, BIT. Trip Complete, Epic Mickey, Zack and Wiki Quest for Barbaros' Treasure, Super Paper Mario, Little King's Story, Twilight Princess, Metroid: Other M, de Blob 1+2, Sonic Colors, Contra ReBirth, Castlevania ReBirth, Gradius Rebirth, Metal Slug Anthology, and Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition. That brings the total to slightly over 50.
The Wii version is actually the most acclaimed. o_O

Anyways, if you're looking for power, the PS3 is clearly where to go.
Xenoblade Chronicles? Sure, why not. Definitely the most cinematic. Nintendo should take a page from that fantastic RPG.
Fifty is definitely not too excessive. I would add Mario Kart Wii, Wario: Land Shake It!, Rock Band 2 and 3, Guitar Hero 5, Wii Sports + Resort, Skyward Sword, Rayman Origins, Red Steel 2, and a slew more of games to my previous list.
No, it can't. While Nintendo's worst console by far, the Wii still provides compelling experiences (and the generation's most unique). Sticking to SD was a mistake. The Wii U aims to fix that.
Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, No More Heroes 1 and 2, Sin and Punishment: Star Successor, Madworld, Monster Hunter Tri, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, World of Goo, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Okami, Boom Blox 1 and 2, Kirby's Epic Yarn and Return to Dreamland, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and so much more would like a word with you.
